What do you like best about Wherefour?

Wherefour is easier to use than other platforms for supply chain activies (manufacturing/production, BOM maintenance, inventory, forecasting, shipping/receiving and vendor orders). There are minimal steps to follow once you understand the general flow. Our mock recall activities are more detailed. Setting our min / max ordering and the auto alerts assist with eliminating out of stocks. The support team is extremely responsive and helpful when I have run into any issues and the developer team implements critical updates based on client feedback. Over the years wherefour has become more sophisticated and useful (ie. running our cost of goods routinely). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wherefour?

The pdf template interface can be cumbersome and finicky to customize documents. Any changes to a customer order and what is shipped can not be tracked (ie. if an order is for 100 pieces the system does not allow you to "over / short" an order through the pick & ship function); it requires a change to the order so you can not capture historical shortages or overages to a customer or a specific product. What problems is Wherefour solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before wherefour we were tracking inventory and materials via excel spreadsheets which left us scrambling and many hours to keep updated. Wherefour can be relied upon to consume materials as they are using on a production order and send alerts when minimum inventory levels are reached. It allows us to track historical volumes by client, by product, etc which allows us to manage production needs and sales forecasts. We can run reports to see what products are on hold, quarantine, etc to help farm operations manage inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
