"Seamless B2B Meetings with Client-First Branding"
4/5
What do you like best about WebMeet?

What I value most about WebMeet is its fully white‑label, browser‑native meeting setup, which has really improved how we run B2B wholesale conversations at Berlin Sport Supply GmbH. Many of our retail partners are small‑scale shop operators. Their office computers often have tight admin restrictions, so they hate downloading and installing new meeting software just for one‑off business calls. Before we started using WebMeet, I would routinely lose 10‑15 minutes at the start of partner calls troubleshooting app setup issues. I got great real‑world usage with our wholesale partner Sport‑Haus Kiel, who stocks our outdoor hiking backpack range. I created a custom branded meeting room loaded with our Berlin Sport Supply GmbH logo and brand colours, then sent them only a simple browser link. Their purchasing team clicked the link and joined right away, zero downloads required. We jumped straight into discussing spring‑season order volumes, product sample feedback and delivery bottlenecks without wasting time on technical hurdles. Another handy feature is link reuse. I can send that same branded room link to different staff inside Sport‑Haus Kiel. Whether their buying manager or warehouse supervisor joins the discussion, I don’t need to generate brand‑new meeting invites every single time. This makes scheduling far less tedious when multiple stakeholders from one partner need to attend our business reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebMeet?

WebMeet has several meaningful downsides that create real operational pain points for our sporting‑goods wholesale operations in Germany, especially under GDPR data‑privacy obligations. Its browser‑only foundation makes performance extremely sensitive to poor internet connections. During our quarterly business review with Sport‑Haus Kiel, their small retail office runs on limited broadband. Mid‑conversation while we went over their spring‑order spreadsheet, screen share kept freezing and dropping entirely. We kept restarting the session multiple times, and in the end we had to switch over to Microsoft Teams to finish walking through their order plans. There is no low‑bandwidth fallback mode built‑in, so mediocre partner internet can completely derail a scheduled B2B discussion. GDPR‑related functionality is very bare‑bones. There is no automated rule to delete old meeting recordings after a set retention window. Every single recording from partner calls must be manually located and deleted by hand. When I get swamped processing wholesale orders and partner enquiries, it is easy for me to overlook cleaning these files, which creates genuine data‑privacy risk for our retail partners’ commercial information. The white‑label customisation is also incomplete. Even though the meeting room itself uses our branding, calendar invites, reminders and post‑meeting notification emails still carry WebMeet’s default system text. That waters down the branding benefit we were hoping to get. Integration support is basically non‑existent; there is no connection to our contact database. All meeting notes, follow‑up tasks and order feedback have to be manually copied across to our internal spreadsheets. This repetitive manual work piles up each month when I hold meetings with many retail partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
