## Webflow Reviews
 ### 1. Best webdesign building platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard D. | manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Over the last few years, Webflow has continued to evolve and improve significantly. The addition of Webflow Apps, Logic, Memberships, improved CMS capabilities, and better collaboration features has made the platform even more powerful. As an agency that has been using Webflow since 2014, we appreciate how the platform constantly releases meaningful updates that help us build better websites and deliver more value to our clients.

The visual designer remains the best in the industry, allowing us to create highly customized websites without sacrificing performance or code quality. The hosting, security, and scalability are also major advantages compared to traditional website builders.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

While Webflow has improved a lot, there are still some limitations when compared to fully custom development. Certain advanced functionalities still require third-party tools or custom code. We also miss some legacy features and workflows that existed years ago and were removed or changed over time.

Pricing can become expensive when managing multiple projects, especially for agencies and growing businesses. Additionally, some newer features have a learning curve before teams can fully take advantage of them.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't need developers on the team to build websites and landing pages for our clients, and we are 7x faster developing any project than any other company in our market.

 ### 2. Webflow Makes Modern, Polished Websites Easy to Build Visually

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muzammil M. | Founder – Muzammil Graphic | Interior and Graphic Designer | Transforming Spaces and Brands Visually , Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

One thing I liked most about Webflow was how it makes website design feel more visual and flexible compared to traditional website builders. I started using it while exploring modern website development and creative portfolio designs, and it gave me much better control over layouts, animations, and overall design structure without needing to write everything manually from scratch. The interface felt clean and professional, and I liked that I could visually build responsive pages while still having access to advanced customization options. It was especially useful for creating modern-looking landing pages, portfolio sections, and interactive website layouts for creative and design related projects. Another thing I appreciated was the balance between design freedom and usability. Webflow makes it easier to turn creative ideas into functional websites without depending heavily on coding for every small change. For someone working around website development and visual projects, it helped speed up the workflow while still allowing websites to look polished and professional.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

One thing I found slightly challenging about Webflow was the learning curve in the beginning. While the platform is powerful and gives a lot of design freedom, some advanced settings and layout controls can feel overwhelming for new users who are not familiar with responsive web design or structure based editing. I also felt that managing complex animations and interactions sometimes takes extra time to fully understand. The platform is excellent for creating visually modern websites, but beginners may need some practice before feeling fully comfortable with all the features. Adding more beginner-friendly guidance and simplifying certain advanced workflows could make the experience even smoother for new users and small creative teams.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow helps solve the problem of building modern and professional websites without relying completely on traditional coding workflows or multiple separate tools. When I started using it, one of the biggest benefits was being able to visually design responsive pages while still having good control over layouts, animations, and website structure. It made the website creation process much faster for me, especially while working on portfolio concepts, landing pages, and creative website ideas. Instead of spending a lot of time adjusting code for every design change, I could directly work on the visual side and see updates in real time. This helped improve workflow efficiency and made experimenting with different layouts easier. I also found it useful for creating cleaner and more polished client presentations because the websites looked modern and interactive without needing a large development setup. For designers, freelancers, creative studios, or small businesses, Webflow can be very practical because it combines design flexibility, responsive development, and hosting-related features in one platform. While advanced projects may still require deeper technical understanding, the platform does a good job of reducing the gap between design and development, which is one of the main reasons I found it valuable.

 ### 3. Move fast, stay polished, no dev team needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandor L. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Webflow makes it easy to build and update a professional website without a full custom development process. For SmartSec Academy, it has been invaluable for publishing pages, editing content, managing site structure, and keeping everything looking polished, all as a lean, founder-run business.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

Webflow can feel less intuitive when dealing with custom code, redirects, integrations, or more advanced technical settings. Some changes still require careful checking across desktop, tablet, and mobile views. It is a powerful tool, but there is a learning curve, especially for a non-developer founder managing the site solo.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow solves the problem of building and maintaining a professional website without needing a full development team. For SmartSec Academy, it lets us publish pages, update copy, manage structure, and connect tools like Memberstack while keeping the site polished and the team lean. It helps us move faster and make improvements ourselves, without waiting on custom development for every change.

 ### 4. Photoshop-Like Design Control Backed by Awesome Webflow Tutorials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikey S. | Owner/CEO of OrangeWave Creative Media, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

I like to describe Webflow to people like a Photoshop for website design. You have a lot of visual tools to help you refine the look and style of your website, but there can be quite a learning curve.

With that being said, one of my favorite things about Webflow is their awesome tutorials and videos to help get you started on different aspects of their platform. Those are SUPER helpful and engaging.

Webflow gives me all of the control I need to really dial in the look of the site I'm building. This is great when you don't want your website to look the same as every other site in your industry.

There are also a lot of ways to connect with other services inside of Webflow which makes automating certain tasks and connecting with other platforms really fluid.

They are also contantly evolving and including new tools. While I used to use Chat GPT to help me with some of the code and animation aspects of Webflow, they've recently come out with some of their own AI tools which I'm exctied to try.

While the cost may be a bit higher than other website platforms, I've found it to be a good value for the amount of control and innovative tools you have access to.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

Webflow is super powerful and can do a lot of things, but with great power sometimes comes great complexity. Sometimes it can be easy to get lost in what you're doing with certain triggers or actions.

While I love the ability to connect to other services fairly easily, sometimes I feel like Webflow relies on these connections too heavily, leaving some of the functionality a little lacking. Contact forms for instance, work 'fine' by default in Webflow, but I feel like you'd want to connect to another service to get the most out of your web forms.

I've also found the performance to be fairly good. I opted in to receive texts when different aspects of Webflow are experiencing issues, and while I appreciate the communication and transparency, it does seem to have issues more often than other platforms I've used.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow does a great job combining some advanced coding and web programming techniques (like animations and triggers) into a well designed tool that just feels right as a designer. I'm a programmer and designer and I to me Webflow marries those two things together beautifully.

 ### 5. A Review About Webflow & My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew F. | Web Project Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Webflow is in a league of its own. It's not just a web builder it's a design and development canvas that gives full creative control without compromising on structure or responsiveness. There's a learning curve, but that’s part of what makes it a professional tool. Once you're fluent, it feels like second nature. It’s my go-to for translating vision into pixel-perfect execution.

A lot more features been added lately on SEO, image optimizations, Schema Markups. And other design components & properties that allow the best consistency you've ever experienced on a no code web builder.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

Occasionally, there are quirks interactions or layout behavior that don’t respond as expected, especially in cross-browser testing. Whether it's due to how Webflow handles style overrides or just small UI bugs, these hiccups can interrupt flow. That said, it's never a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of in complex builds.

It has a lot more gaps to fill.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of SEO features are available on Webflow, so that takes out a lot of the bloat compared to WordPress already. The recent updates on Webflow have been instrumental so far in my workflow, as well as the content management system being a breeze to use, after initial setups.

Design Consistency has been amazing using webflow.

 ### 6. Freedom! A tool where design intent survives the build, with strings attached

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal K. | Marketing Design Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Here's a polished version:

Webflow hits a rare sweet spot between being designer-friendly and technically powerful. The no-code approach means designers can build and ship production-ready websites without being bottlenecked by a developer, which is a huge productivity unlock for creative teams.
The integrations are solid and cover most of what you'd need in a modern web stack. But what really adds long-term value is the community. Webflow has one of the largest and most active communities in the no-code space, with a ton of resources, templates, cloneables, and forums that make it easy to learn and solve problems fast.
It also just feels like a modern tool. The underlying stack is clean, the output code is respectable, and it keeps pace with where web design is heading. For designers who want more control without diving into full-on development, Webflow is hard to beat.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

The bigger concern, is long-term dependency. Once your entire web presence is built on Webflow, switching costs are high, and that gives them a lot of pricing power down the road. It's the kind of platform lock-in that's easy to overlook early on but starts to feel risky as you scale. Would be good to see more export flexibility and pricing transparency as they grow.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow solves a real operational problem: keeping a website up to date without needing a dedicated developer on call. Non-designers on the team can manage content and make basic updates without breaking things, which removes a constant bottleneck and frees up design and dev bandwidth for more meaningful work.
On the hiring side, the Webflow developer community is large enough that finding someone to manage or build on the platform is relatively easy. That's not something you can take for granted with every tool, and it makes resourcing feel a lot less risky.
But the benefit I value most is execution fidelity. The gap between a design file and what actually gets built has always been a frustration in web projects. Webflow closes that gap significantly, letting designers push pixels closer to their original vision without compromise. What you design is much closer to what ships, and that matters a lot when brand and aesthetics are a priority.

 ### 7. Reliable, Modern Site Builder with an Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valeria S. | Executive Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

It’s a reliable, modern visual site builder that makes it easy to create and update pages. The interface feels current and intuitive, so I can build what I need without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

When it comes to more advanced needs, there are a lot of limitations. Integrations feel overly complex, and more sophisticated website logic is basically non-existent. User login was deprecated, which I was really disappointed about, since it essentially means you can’t build a website with a user base on it.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s one of the more reliable visual website builders out there. I especially liked how witty the onboarding tutorials on their YouTube channel are, and they made getting started feel a lot more enjoyable. Overall, it’s genuinely fun to use, and it’s benefited me across a lot of projects.

 ### 8. AI has transformed Webflow from a complex website creation too to an easy to use one without losing past high fidelity of features.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom R. | Founder & Learning Experience Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Their AI assistant is quite strong, I have to say. I’ve developed ALOT in AI the last 12 months and Webflow has definitely got the AI workflows right. Very impressed and extremely excited to see how this feature evolves. My past comments still apply.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

The AI assistant helps here as well! But also, as I’ve learned about programming languages, I’m almost grateful for Webflows’s complex UI. I’ve had trouble using AI for services with simply UIs, one being a direct competitor of Webflow.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to produce high quality websites without it looking like crap. Pardon my French but simply put, Wix is easy, but you can tell it's a Wix site. Webflow sites look professional like they were done professionally.

 ### 9. Powerful, Flexible, and Worth It

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elsworth L. | Training Coordinator, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Webflow gives us an outstanding balance of design freedom, control, and speed. It allows us to build professional, highly customized websites without being boxed into rigid templates, while still moving much faster than a traditional coded build in many cases. The platform is especially strong for teams that care about design, content management, and being able to make updates without relying on a developer for every change. Overall, it has been one of the best tools in our tech stack for building polished, flexible, modern web experiences.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

Certain workflows still require workarounds depending on what you are trying to build.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow solves the problem of needing a professional, custom website without having to rely on a slow, traditional development process for every update or change. It gives us much more control over design, site structure, and content management than many other platforms, which helps us build faster, keep brand consistency, and handle updates internally with less friction. Overall, that reduces our dependence on outside developers, improves our agility, and results in a more polished web presence.

 ### 10. Webflow Review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Webflow?**

Webflow is a wonderful platform for codeless web development. It's easy to understand and to create compelling designs. It helps to quickly create prototipes for your ideas.

**What do you dislike about Webflow?**

The worst part of the services offered by Webflow is the complicated offer, divided into two separate parts, one for the hosting and the other for the workspace. The price is very high and nowadays less justifiable as an expense, considering the vastness of cheaper offers or do it yourself with ai.

**What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webflow is solving the problem of delivering quickly and easily a result or a solution for our clients. Webflow offers easy tutorial and many solution to implement our ideas into nice web platforms.
