"Seamless Setup and Insightful Dashboards"

What do you like best about Waydev?

I like Waydev for providing clear visibility into our engineering organization's performance. It helps us track development activities across repositories, monitor pull request merge time, and calculate team velocity effectively. The clear quantifiable DORA matrix numbers give us great insights to cut down hidden bottlenecks. The ease of integration is a huge win, and onboarding was smooth. Once everything is set up, we get a dashboard out of the box that provides a top view of project performance, plus the ability to create custom dashboards. The dashboard also eliminates the need for manual calculations and reporting, allowing us to make actionable decisions more quickly. What do you dislike about Waydev?

What do you like best about Waydev?

We've been using Waydev on regular basis for about two years, mainly for engineering analytics and performance insights. The platform provides excellent visibility into engineering operations — from DORA metrics to PR-related insights — giving a holistic understanding of team performance and development flow. The Waydev team is very supportive, responsive to feedback, and proactive in helping us get the most out of the product. Integration with our existing tools was smooth, and the overall setup process was straightforward. Overall, Waydev has been a valuable tool for driving data-informed conversations and improving visibility into our engineering processes. What do you dislike about Waydev?

One area that could use some improvement is the Developer Experience (DevEx) surveys — they still feel a bit raw and could benefit from more flexibility and depth. Also, the number of available metrics can feel overwhelming at first, though it becomes manageable once you focus on what really matters to your team.

I’d also love to see more flexible dashboards that allow combining tangible data with subjective insights (for example, using the SPACE framework). In case of many integration, contributors management may be a bit more time consuming than it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Waydev?

I found the setup process really simple. You have to connect to your git provider and Jira but it's really only a few clicks and the documentation provided was extremely clear. There are a lot of metrics you can track and you can create custom dashboards to organize them. The DORA metrics are also a great objective benchmark to compare against. It was hard to objectively determine how well the development teams, as well as individual members are performing. "No brainer for large teams"

What do you like best about Waydev?

Waydev provides multiple data points that help technical and non technical managers better manager their engineering efforts and critical points. As a Eng manager and founder of over 15 years, I believe that data can compliment the natural skills of most Eng managers out there. There are many things I like about the platform, but the one I like best must be that it truly improved the efficiency of my team. We didn’t exactly know where we could improve as a team, until we got Waydev. It gave us a lot of insight into what’s working well, and what’s not, so it gave us the power to perform better. What do you dislike about Waydev?

They did a great job, actually. Can't think of anything I don't like about the platform. If I have to nit pick I would love to learn how to make use of the charts within the app (some kind of learning center). But their awesome success team covered that pretty well. What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?

We felt like we needed to have more insight into everything that’s going on in the software development process and see the areas we can improve. Waydev offered us full visibility and we knew exactly how to improve. For example, since we were able to measure it and zoom into it, our Cycle Time reduced considerably.
