Wagtail enables us to deliver a beautiful website that looks so much better than any of the common "clone-looking websites". But specifically we choose Wagtail because it has a good data model. If you go with any of the very common out-of-the-box websites, and look under the hood, you realize the data model is missing -- and that ANY functionality you need is entirely achieved through coding logic via plugins. Which is extremely brittle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The plugin ecosystem is not there like some other common platforms. However, given that Wagtail is on Python/Django, that's not really such a big problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
