The tool is relatively easy to use, for the most part. Once the video is created, I feel a sense of accomplishment. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** I find that creating longer videos (2 minutes or more) can become tedious. It can be taxing, so I keep my videos about 1 to 1.5 minutes. However, the tools is best used for shorter videos, I think. The captioning is difficult for me. I can't understand why it is so hard. I have been using the YouTube captioning tool, which is not ideal. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** My courses are text-heavy and boring without videos. Having Vyond videos really help with student engagement and explaining course material. It is much better than using YouTube videos. One of the things that makes it so accessible is the help videos. When I have questions, I can always find the answers, and they are accompanied by video that walks me through how to do whatever it is I want to do. Also, the one time I reached out to Customer Support, I got a response almost immediately, and the person on the other end followed up until the issue was resolved. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** For some reason the volume of the characters' voices is automatically faded at the end of their dialogue. I've tried extending the scene to see if this helps, but their voices fade as their speaking part ends. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vyond allows me to present information in videos that I can create independently without having to use our media developer or talk my fellow employees into acting. ### 49. Exporting videos takes longer than expected, even for short content. In addition, many features are locked behind the highest subscription tier, which limits usability at our current level. Animations are quite useful for providing context at a human level within many types of training videos. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** Two major issues are with the recent AI Avatar characters: 1) Unlike the regular Vyond animated characters, you can't edit and 'regenerate' the character's TTS for these new AV avatar characters. Instead you must re-shoot them over again which makes no sense and is very time consuming. It's extra challenging because it's not so easy to identify which clip is which within the Vyond Library for your video, especially if you are pulling in graphics and other TTS backed content plus getting them back into the main timeline. 2) Another issue is with the TTS, it is now having issues with consistency of its pronouciations. For example the word 'refiner', it will pronounce it correctly in a sentence and then a sentence or two later will pronouce it differenty. Whereas in the past I might phoentically spell the word but it would be consistent in how it would pronounce it in all places. Something has changed with the TTS (maybe the vendors), yes they sound more human like with most pronunciatins, however having inconsistencies has introduced a new type of problem that I can't easily get around. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vyond animations allow us to create animated narrations of content that provide context to our training videos. ## Vyond Discussions -
