What I like most about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) is its unified approach to managing compute, storage, networking, and overall cloud infrastructure through a single, integrated platform. It helps simplify day-to-day operations, supports scalability as needs grow, strengthens security, and enables consistent management across both private and hybrid cloud environments. I also value its automation capabilities, which reduce operational complexity and make infrastructure management more efficient and easier to maintain over time. What I dislike about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) is the high licensing and implementation costs, as well as the complexity of both the initial setup and ongoing management. Managing it effectively can require specialized expertise and significant training. I’d also like to see more flexible licensing options, simpler upgrade processes, and smoother integration with third-party tools, so the platform feels more accessible and cost-effective overall.
