I use VMware Cloud Foundation to simplify infrastructure management by having virtualization, storage, networking, and management tightly integrated, which reduces complexity and saves operational effort. I like the automation and lifecycle management features that minimize manual work and make upgrades easier to plan and execute. It provides a stable and scalable foundation that improves operational efficiency and allows our team to focus more on delivering services than maintaining infrastructure. What do you dislike about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)? I find the learning curve for new users challenging. Understanding all components and their dependencies takes time for teams like ours new to software-defined infrastructure. Some troubleshooting scenarios can be complex and might require specialized VMware knowledge. Upgrades and configuration changes, though streamlined compared to separate infrastructure stacks, still need careful planning in larger environments. Improved visibility into troubleshooting and more simplified management workflows would enhance the experience.
