What do you like best about VMcom Backup Appliance?

easy-to-use, easy-to-deploy, documentation is written well even for those not so skilled with vmware virtualization, thus customer or first level tech support can learn to use it within an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMcom Backup Appliance?

only VMWare platform, LVM fs level of restoration is not supported yet, although producer did promise to add this feature in Q2/2019 so lets hope Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering VMcom Backup Appliance:

Definitely do try it, one license is quite cheap and first deployment will not take much time from your ops team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VMcom Backup Appliance solving and how is that benefiting you?

It enables us to leave backup of VMware cloud servers in hands of customers or level 1 tech support, where with vcenter innate app we had to do this on 2nd level and if any issue occured the debug was to be done by 3rd level. Through this we were able to decrease recovery time to new minimum, to great satisfaction of our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
