What I like most about Visual Studio Code is how easily it fits into different types of work. I can switch between SQL, Python, testing files, scripts, and project configurations without feeling like I’m changing tools every time. The editor stays lightweight, but I can add only the extensions and features I actually need. I also find the built-in terminal, file search, debugging, and Git support very convenient for handling my day-to-day development and testing work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Visual Studio Code is that it can take some time to get everything configured properly. With so many extensions available, finding the right ones and keeping them compatible can sometimes become a bit of a trial-and-error process. I’ve also noticed that after installing several extensions, the editor can feel less responsive than when it is kept minimal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
