What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I love how easy and seamless the user experience is. I also appreciate the wide range of extensions and AI integrations available within the application. Another thing I like is how regularly the software is updated by the team, while maintaining existing features and functionality without causing major disruptions. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I don't really dislike anything about the software per se. However, I would suggest improving how suggested language extensions are managed. It can be quite inconvenient to close a suggested extension notification, only for it to pop up again every time the same user opens the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Visual Studio Code solving and how is that benefiting you?

Visual Studio Code allows me to work on multiple projects using different programming languages side by side within the same editor, without having to open separate editors for each language. This has been really helpful for both project and workspace management. I can work on both my frontend and backend projects in VS Code, regardless of the programming languages they are written in, without needing to switch to an external editor.
