What I like most about Visual Expert is that it saves me time when I need to understand an existing SQL Server database. In my Sitecore and .NET development work, I often need to check how tables, stored procedures, and other database objects are related before making changes. Visual Expert makes it easier to trace these dependencies and check the possible impact of a change instead of going through the code manually. I also find the generated documentation useful when I need to explain the database structure to other team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main drawback I have noticed is that analysis can take some time when the SQL Server codebase is large. This is noticeable when we are doing a full analysis and need to wait for the results before reviewing them. The scheduling option helps with this because we can run analysis and documentation jobs separately instead of waiting for them during active development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
