## Visio Reviews
  ### 1. A Crucial Tool for Regulatory Affairs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | QA/RA Team Lead, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Visio?**

I use Visio a lot for process mapping and regulatory pathway mapping, and it's a daily part of my job. I absolutely 100% can't do my job without it. It's extremely easy to use, and the templates included are extremely valuable, allowing me to easily adapt them to specific scenarios. The templates are also easily adaptable for quality and regulatory workflows, which is crucial for new market entry projects and compliance mapping. The setup was also extremely easy, especially since we had done it previously, and the newer version provided a walkthrough with more included templates, which was a bonus. Visio is by far the best product for flowcharting, and I eventually came back to it after trying a cheaper online version.

**What do you dislike about Visio?**

I don't have too many comments about what doesn't work well but I would like to see a little more AI inclusion. And if Microsoft Copilot already does that, I do not know about it. So they could do a better job of making the AI incorporation better known and what it can actually do in Visio.

**What problems is Visio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Visio for process mapping and regulatory pathway mapping, which is crucial for my job as I absolutely can't do it without Visio.

  ### 2. Intuitive for Quick Diagrams, but Limited Collaboration and Process Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atharva P. | Cloud BI Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Visio?**

What I like most is how simple and easy it is to use for creating quick diagrams. It feels very intuitive, requires minimal setup, and makes it easy to visualize processes, flows, and system architectures quickly, without a lot of overhead.

**What do you dislike about Visio?**

It lacks advanced process management capabilities. The diagrams are static, and there’s no central repository or straightforward way to keep multiple files consistent. Collaboration and version control options are limited, and it doesn’t handle process analysis or interlinking particularly well, which becomes a real challenge on larger, more complex projects.

**What problems is Visio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visio helps solve the challenge of quickly visualizing processes, workflows, and system designs. Rather than relying only on verbal explanations or long text descriptions, it lets me create clear, easy-to-follow diagrams that people can understand at a glance.

The main benefit for me is better communication with stakeholders. It also supports quick documentation and makes it much easier to walk through ideas and explain concepts during discussions or presentations.

  ### 3. Simple Yet Effective for Process Mapping
