It’s the most lightweight media solution out there, and also one of the most versatile. It’s super fast and easy to navigate because there isn’t a complex learning curve. It plays almost any media format that you throw at it. You can use it on mobile, Android TV, and laptops (Windows and Mac).

I also use it for streaming solutions such as Stremio, since it integrates well with the Android box. If I want, I can use the local media player that comes pre-installed on the streaming box, or I can use VLC—and 9 out of 10 times, VLC outperforms.
