As a first time founder, the paperwork and complexity involved in a raise, creating an options pool, defining our cap table etc. are all new concepts which require not only a level of knowledge but also of confidence in your ability to complete documentation with HMRC and investors in the correct manner. That is where Ash and the team at Vestd have excelled for us; confidence levels are way beyond what I could achieve individually.

The platform itself gives me clear reporting and intructions for use, I also like the way there are standard documents/articles to adopt should they suit a particular requirement. Costs (despite being competitive against peers) are high for a small business such as ours. They are justified for the product and service level, but remain objectively challenging for a micro entity.
