What do you like best about VdoCipher?

Their web player is very developer friendly. I was able to embed it with just a few lines of code and control playback using their JavaScript API. Triggering events like pause, play, or capturing watch duration was seamless, and it worked well even inside our SPA frontend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VdoCipher?

The error handling for the web player could be more descriptive. Sometimes the player fails to load due to token issues or CORS, but the error codes don’t always tell you exactly why. That made debugging a little more time-consuming than it needed to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VdoCipher solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a secure way to embed videos inside our custom learning platform while tracking user engagement. With VdoCipher’s iframe and JS API, we were able to sync user progress, control video behavior and still maintain top tier content protection and this all without building a custom player from scratch.
