What do you like best about V-Ray?

The most robust offline renderer there is especially for archviz. Great capabilities with GPU and CPU support. Cosmos assets allows for quick population of 3D scenes with good quality props. The customer support and the community is also another important benefit. Vray plugin is available on many 3D software, so with one licence you can use it in 3DSmax, Sketchup, Blender etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

The pricing for Vray Collection can be an issue, especially for low-revenue freelancers or very small studios. That said, there’s always the Solo license, which is a lot cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is V-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vray is a whole ecosystem that you can rely on. There are other engines out there that are specialized in certain aspects of CGI but they usually come with many other drawbacks in comparison.
