"Flexible CPU/GPU Rendering with Powerful Control Over Lighting and Compositing"
What do you like best about V-Ray?
I can push lighting, materials, and sampling as far as a shot needs. I also can choose between CPU, GPU, or hybrid rendering depending on the machine I’m on. On top of that, using render elements lets me fix things in compositing instead of having to re-render everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about V-Ray?
The learning curve is real and never really flattens, even though I’ve been using it for several months now. There are so many ways to make the scene slow or noisy, and figuring out which setting works best for a given situation takes time and experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
