What I like most about V-Ray is how smoothly it integrates with the other software I use. The breadth of tools is another major plus. I’m able to achieve very realistic results without having to build a complicated workflow around it. For the kind of visualization work I do, the quality of the final renders is ultimately the main reason I keep coming back to V-Ray. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t like how 3D models in visualization plans can lose their outline and meaning, especially when what’s needed is a clearer, more schematic representation. On top of that, I find the tool challenging to master. A natively built-in real-time renderer would be really beneficial, so clients could see updates instantly without lag or having to switch between programs, and it would make my workflow much smoother overall.
