What do you like best about UV layout?

Simple stand-alone program. Unwrap 3d model uv perfectly. It has lots of tools and uv distortion coloring is good. Easy to layout uv for UDIMs workflow. Stable. Works in Linux. The price is great -100$ for 1 year home usage(student ver) and 300$ for Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UV layout?

UI looks old, the same all these years but it works. Sometimes the app can't handle the very "heavy" 3D models. The file import window is not the most convenient and takes some getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UV layout solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it for uv unwrap and layout my 3D models. The app has plugin for Maya that bridges the 3D model software with Uv Layout. It helps save asset shading setup and other attributes when unwrapping 3D model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
