What do you like best about UST Global?

What I like best is how well their engineers embed with our team. They treat our problems as their own, ask good questions about the business context, and don't just deliver code and disappear.

They also bring strong cloud and data engineering depth, so we get solid pipeline design, thorough testing, and clear documentation. And they're flexible: when priorities shift, they scale the team up or down quickly without disrupting delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UST Global?

Nothing major, but there are a couple of areas where I'd like to see improvement. Onboarding new engineers can take a while, since Ford's data landscape is complex and there's a ramp-up period before they're fully productive. Time zone differences with offshore teams can also slow down quick back-and-forth, so we rely heavily on good documentation and overlap hours.

I'd also like more proactive knowledge transfer when team members rotate off, so context isn't lost between engagements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UST Global solving and how is that benefiting you?

UST helps us turn Ford's fragmented data (vehicle telemetry, manufacturing, supply chain) into something usable. They modernize legacy pipelines, build scalable ETL/ELT workflows, and put data quality and governance in place.

For me, that means less time on maintenance and firefighting and more time on architecture, performance tuning, and enabling analytics and ML use cases like predictive maintenance and quality analytics.
