## About Userlytics
Userlytics is a comprehensive user experience research platform designed to assist businesses and agencies in enhancing the user and customer experience across websites, applications, and prototypes. Established in 2009, Userlytics has cultivated a global participant pool of over 2 million panelists, enabling organizations to conduct both moderated and unmoderated usability studies tailored to their specific needs. This platform is particularly beneficial for those seeking to gather actionable insights into user behavior and preferences. Targeted primarily at enterprises and agencies, Userlytics serves a diverse audience that spans various industries. Its scalable pricing model allows organizations to engage as many or as few participants as necessary, making it adaptable for projects of any size. This flexibility is crucial for businesses looking to optimize their digital interfaces and ensure they meet user expectations effectively. Userlytics is particularly useful for product managers, UX designers, and marketing teams who are focused on refining their offerings based on real user feedback. One of the standout features of Userlytics is its ability to facilitate both moderated and unmoderated usability testing. This means that users can choose to observe participants in real-time or gather insights from recorded sessions, depending on their research objectives. To accelerate this research process, Userlytics integrates powerful artificial intelligence capabilities, including AI Annotations and comprehensive AI UX Analysis, which help teams rapidly extract meaningful patterns and insights from qualitative data. Furthermore, the platform is actively expanding its innovative toolkit, with synthetic personas and AI-moderated interviews coming soon. The platform’s extensive global panel allows for diverse demographic representation, ensuring that the feedback collected is relevant and comprehensive. Additionally, Userlytics offers optional professional services, including access to senior UX consultants based in Europe and the U.S., who can provide expert guidance and support throughout the research process. A key differentiator of Userlytics is its proprietary ULX Score, a benchmarking tool that evaluates multiple dimensions of user experience, including Appeal, Adequacy, Distinction, Usability, Trust, Performance, Affinity, and Appearance. This holistic approach to measuring user experience provides clients with a 360-degree view of their product's strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to make informed decisions based on empirical data. By leveraging these insights, organizations can enhance their digital products, ultimately leading to improved user satisfaction and engagement. Overall, Userlytics stands out in the user experience research category by combining a robust participant network, flexible testing options, and expert consultancy services. This platform empowers organizations to gain valuable insights into user behavior, helping them to create more effective and user-friendly digital experiences.

## Userlytics Reviews
 ### 1. Fast user sourcing and responsive support, but transcript exports need improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The ability to source a wide range of users very quickly is a real strength, and setting up studies is straightforward, with a simple design of the system. On the rare occasion I’ve had any issues, Userlytics has been very prompt in replying and helping resolve them. They’ve also added some AI tools to the platform, which is a nice addition.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It doesn’t export a single transcript document of all users, which makes it challenging when analysing spoken responses for a study. I end up having to do a lot of extra work myself to organise the results into a format that’s easy to analyse.
Also, the order users appear in when clicking through isn’t the same as the order shown on the first screen, which is confusing.
Finally, you can’t set up multiple variations within one study. That makes it difficult to compare test results and, again, creates a lot of manual work.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speedy testing that delivers very quick results, even with short turnaround times. It also works well for larger teams across the organisation, and it’s priced so that everyone can carry out their research needs without much additional approval effort.

 ### 2. Essential Tool for Early-Stage Market Feedback

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parisa Z. | Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I like the fact that I don't have to worry about finding the right target audience. I can define who I'm looking for and what type of target audience would be relevant to my space, and they will find the target audience quickly for me based on those criteria. Userlytics has a very extensive panel of participants that are diverse, and they have screening questions to help us figure out who would be the right fit for this product and we only get their feedback.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Userlytics was a good tool, but I think it can't replace the human interview

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics solves customer discovery challenges by capturing feedback at various business stages. It finds the right target audience quickly, from user experience feedback to new product ideas, utilizing a diverse participant panel and screening questions to ensure only relevant feedback is collected.

 ### 3. Effortless UX Insights with Userlytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick R. | Digital Merchandising Mgr, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I appreciate Userlytics for its ease of use, which makes navigating and employing the platform straightforward and efficient. The Highlight Reel function is particularly impressive as it allows me to easily extract the most meaningful and instructive user feedback, facilitating the collation and sharing of insights. I find this feature incredibly helpful in streamlining the evaluation process and enhancing collaboration within the team. Additionally, the initial setup of Userlytics was extremely easy, indicating a user-friendly onboarding experience that did not require unnecessary complications. Having used UserTesting.com in a previous role, I find Userlytics to be a superior tool, offering a better user experience overall. My satisfaction with the platform is evident in my strong likelihood of recommending Userlytics to others, as reflected in my perfect score of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I dislike that Userlytics only allows 'X second tests' to be conducted on static comps/images rather than live web pages. This limitation reduces the ability to test real-time user interactions and experiences, which is crucial for capturing genuine user feedback on live websites.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userlytics to explore user experience, uncovering CX friction points from selected demographics. The Highlight Reel function makes feedback collation easy, and the platform is user-friendly.

**Official Response from Liliana Camacho:**

> Hi Rick,

Thank you for your review. We're pleased to know your experience with our platform has been so "easy". We love that you're getting a use of our Video Analysis tool as well! We recently revamped it even more so we hope you get a kick out of those new features.

In terms of the audio challenge you've run into - Could it be related to how users are doing their setup? Either way, I'm passing on your feedback to Product.

On behalf of the entire team, thank you for choosing us for your UX research needs!

All the best,
Liliana

 ### 4. Ease of Use and Fast Insights, But AI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I like the ease of use of Userlytics, and the speed with which it provides answers. The auto-generated transcripts are another great feature. I also find the AI insights to be good, although they're not quite reliable yet. Setting up Userlytics was very easy for me, perhaps because I've used this and similar products in other roles before.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The AI insights are buggy, and there are issues like freezing or glitching when generating answers. Also, some testing methods like card sorting are not optimized for mobile screens.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics helps me collect insights on why's and provide data points to improve on digital products and strategies.

**Official Response from Liliana Camacho:**

> Thank you for your 5-star review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Regarding your feedback on the areas for improvement:

Our AI Insights feature is currently in beta, and we're actively refining it based on user feedback like yours. As for card sorting on mobile, we hear you. That experience is currently being redesigned to work better across all screens as it’s currently optimized for desktop.

Thanks again for your support and for helping us improve as we’re committed to the quality and depth of our platform.

 ### 5. High-Quality Insights That Drive UX Strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ella C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I appreciate Userlytics' access to high-quality users who provide invaluable insights. This access is crucial because it enables me to gather direct feedback from users to inform my UX strategy effectively. I find that many other platforms offer similar survey creation capabilities but often result in poor quality and unhelpful responses. In contrast, Userlytics provides tangible insights that I can directly apply to my strategic planning, which sets it apart from competitors. Furthermore, the initial setup of Userlytics was very easy for me, simplifying my transition and enabling me to utilize its features without hassle. These aspects, combined, enhance the overall value of Userlytics for me.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I wish the results analytics were more developed, featuring pre-made visuals that could be easily shared with my team to provide a quick summary of survey performance. Additionally, a word cloud for qualitative responses would be beneficial. The inclusion of simple visuals for quantitative questions and potential LLM integration to synthesize qualitative insights would greatly enhance usability.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userlytics to obtain high-quality user insights directly, which are crucial for developing my UX strategy, especially for credit card landing pages.

**Official Response from Victoria Pinto:**

> Hi Ella,

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear Userlytics stands out from the competition by providing the high-quality insights you need for your UX strategy. Your feedback regarding more developed analytics and AI synthesis is invaluable and has been shared with our product team to help us prioritize our next updates.

We look forward to continuing to support your research!

 ### 6. Easy Setup and Responsive Support, But Needs Transcription Enhancements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I enjoy using Userlytics for its easy-to-use platform which allows me to recruit participants and record sessions effortlessly. The ease and functionality of the platform significantly streamline the research process, allowing for both unmoderated and moderated testing. I also appreciate Userlytics' responsive and friendly operations team and support staff. Their promptness in addressing issues is impressive, as I experienced when they efficiently edited a video to blur parts of my screen, ensuring the privacy of sensitive information. This was accomplished within two to three hours, making the video ready for public sharing. The combination of the platform's usability and the team's responsiveness makes the overall experience with Userlytics very delightful and efficient. Additionally, the setup process for Userlytics was quick and straightforward, aided by customer support every step of the way, which made it very easy to get up and running with our first studies.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I find the ability to identify who is speaking during the transcription process challenging to distinguish between my speech and that of the participants or clients. This deficiency makes it a bit tricky to review and analyze conversations effectively.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userlytics primarily for recruiting to conduct unmoderated and moderated user research, record insights, share screens, and set up metrics, streamlining our research process and consolidating tools for quick studies.

**Official Response from Victoria Pinto:**

> Hi Brandon,

Thank you for your feedback! We are pleased to hear that our platform’s ease of use and our team's responsive support—especially regarding your video privacy needs—have added value to your research process. We also appreciate your specific feedback on transcription speaker identification; we have shared this with our product team to help us improve our analysis tools.

We look forward to supporting your future studies!

 ### 7. Exceptional Reach and Insightful Analysis, Needs UI Modernization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arizona R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I really like Userlytics for multiple reasons. The platform has an impressive global participant pool that covers over 135 countries, which is crucial for conducting diverse research. Its AI-powered qualitative analysis tools are also a standout feature, as they allow for deeper insights from user data. Userlytics offers unlimited team access without any extra costs, promoting a more democratic research process by enabling collaboration across the entire team. The professional UX Consulting services offered are invaluable for efficiently planning and moderating tests, as well as analyzing results. Another great aspect is Userlytics' integration with popular design tools like Figma and AdobeXD, which streamlines the workflow significantly. I also find the customization options especially useful; being able to create custom screeners to target specific user groups, along with the flexibility to conduct various types of tests like card sorting and usability testing, greatly enhances the research process. Moreover, Userlytics is exceptional for remote usability tests, as it provides video and screen recordings for thorough behavior analysis, and the responsive customer support is commendable. The setup process is fairly straightforward, with clear steps and a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate even for beginners.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I dislike the usability and interface design of Userlytics, which some users find cumbersome, non-intuitive, and slow. Moreover, the interface could be modernized, as it is described by some as dated or clunky. A visually clear design with intuitive navigation would significantly enhance the user experience, especially for those new to the platform.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userlytics to eliminate internal bias by integrating actual user feedback into product development, leveraging a global participant pool for diverse insights, and its AI-driven analysis tools to enhance research depth.

**Official Response from Victoria Pinto:**

> Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are very glad to hear that you are finding value in our global participant pool, our AI-supported qualitative analysis tools and the flexibility to run different types of studies. It is also great to know that the unlimited team access, UX Consulting services and integrations with tools like Figma and Adobe XD are helping streamline your workflow.

We also appreciate your honest feedback about the platform’s interface and usability. We understand how important a modern, intuitive UI is for researchers and teams, and feedback like yours is incredibly helpful as we continue working on improving the overall experience.

Thank you again for sharing your perspective and for using Userlytics to bring diverse, unbiased user insights into your product development process.

All the best,

 ### 8. Outdated Interface with High Learning Curve

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny F. | Manager, User Experience Research, Market Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I find Userlytics fairly efficient in quickly attracting new users to our platform, Spotter Studio. This speed in acquiring users is beneficial as it allows us to rapidly understand how first-time users navigate through our onboarding process, from setting up their profiles to grasping the core principles of our platform.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I think the UI and UX of Userlytics is horrible. It is extremely outdated and not easy to do anything on the platform. The navigation is confusing, making it difficult to add questions to a test plan and moving questions around is super buggy. For a company built on improving usability for others, I would expect a better UX experience. Navigating through a test plan is outdated, glitchy, and cumbersome; it could be simplified completely. Additionally, the initial setup was hard due to a high learning curve.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userlytics to understand how first-time users navigate our onboarding process, from profile setup to grasping key principles. It's quick to get user feedback, but the UI and UX are outdated and difficult to navigate, impacting overall usability.

**Official Response from Victoria Pinto:**

> Hi Danny,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are glad to hear that Userlytics has helped you quickly gather insights from first-time users and better understand how they move through your onboarding process. Fast access to real user feedback is something we always aim to support.

We also appreciate your honesty about the challenges you faced with the old interface and navigation we had at the beginning of 2025. We hope you will appreciate the many changes thereof that have been released over the past months and weeks. Critical feedback is always welcome at Userlytics and is one of the main drivers of our roadmap.

Along with other changes:
-Navigation has been simplified
-Metrics and Analysis have been enhanced with advanced charts and matrices
-UI and UX has been a priority in Q4 and it is in Q1 2026

We would love to invite you to check out and compare the system as it stands today, and also, to check out the many additional improvements and added capabilities that we are launching in January 2026 and over the coming months; making sure you are able to seamlessly generate multiple insights across a mixed method series of UX research capabilities is our holy grail, we sincerely thank you for your feedback, and look forward to continue using suggestions such as yours to improve the value of our offerings to our clients.

All the best,
Victoria

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** İlayda Sena . | UX Research Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Ability to share calendars with users, selected slots automatically appearing on the calendar. Successful transcription in Turkish.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The lack of a Turkish language option in the application makes it difficult for users who do not speak English to create appointments, download the application, and enter the meeting.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It greatly facilitates tasks such as participant recruitment and scheduling appointments. I also find the transcription feature useful for taking notes after meetings.
