I can confidently say that Upscaler stands out with its depth, usability, and thoughtful design. It’s more than just a compliance tool - it’s a centralized, intelligent platform that brings together everything you need for ISMS management. One of the standout features for us has been its robust version control system. In most organizations, tracking policy updates, revisions, and approvals can be a real headache. It’s easy to lose track of changes, or worse, mismanage versions altogether. Upscaler eliminates this problem completely. It automatically maintains version histories, highlights what changed, when, and by whom—saving us from reviewing entire policies just to identify one small change. The platform also allows tight access control, giving teams the flexibility to manage who can view or edit specific content. This helps reduce operational friction and ensures secure collaboration. The platform has good integration features to link it with internal systems and we often use Upscaler on daily basis. Another big plus is how customizable the platform is. It is a kind of open-source design, Upscaler provides powerful tools for creating tailored workflows, building and linking registers, and capturing audit-ready data all within the platform itself. It’s intuitive and versatile, allowing us to plan future projects and streamline processes effortlessly. On top of that, the support team at Upscaler deserves special mention. They’ve consistently gone above and beyond, not only with platform-related queries but also with deep guidance on ISO standards. Their clarity, responsiveness, and genuine expertise were instrumental in helping us achieve ISO 27001 accreditation within just a year. In summary, Upscaler has been an incredibly valuable investment. It’s smart, scalable, and built with the real-world needs of security and compliance teams in mind. There are only a few areas where Upscaler could be even better. For example, while the platform is generally intuitive, some parts of the user interface could be more refined or streamlined, especially for new users navigating the platform for first time. Additionally, offering few more customization options for templates and workflows would give users even greater flexibility to tailor the tool to their specific organizational needs. Despite these minor areas for improvement, Upscaler remains an excellent platform with a lot to offer. It's clear that the team is committed to evolving the product, and I'm confident that with ongoing updates, it will only get better.
