The platform itself is intuitive once you get into it, and the Shopify integration has made the whole setup feel much more joined-up.
Customer service from the initial demo to informing me of a new feature I wanted in the app has been incredible. Special shout out to Evans who's been supportive throughout.
I also like that we can manage tracking, partner activity, commissions and programme settings from one place rather than relying on spreadsheets or manual processes. Performance has been smooth so far, and the reporting gives us confidence that we’ll be able to measure the value of the programme properly once it is live.
From an ROI point of view, we’re still pre-launch, but the cost feels very reasonable for the amount of functionality and control it gives us.
One unexpected benefit has been how much the platform has helped us think through the structure of the programme itself, not just the technical setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside is probably that the sheer number of options and settings can feel a little overwhelming when you're setting up an affiliate or referral programme for the first time. UpPromote is extremely flexible, which is one of its biggest strengths, but that also means there can be quite a lot to understand initially.
I'd like to see more examples of different programme structures, suggested best-practice configurations and perhaps more step-by-step guidance based on what you're trying to achieve.
That said, whenever I've been unsure about anything, the support has been excellent, so it hasn't stopped us getting the programme configured the way we wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
