What I like most about Unstract is how it simplifies document processing and data extraction workflows. During our POC, we found the platform flexible and straightforward to configure across different document types and business use cases. What do you dislike about Unstract? One area where Unstract could improve is in handling highly client-specific or complex business rules, especially when the processing logic depends heavily on historical context or custom workflows. During the POC, we found that certain configurations still required manual intervention, along with extra validation effort. We also noticed that fine-tuning extraction behavior and adjusting rule configurations across different document variations can take time, particularly when documentation standards are inconsistent from one client to another. We primarily use this platform for data extraction and automated document processing with minimal manual intervention. The biggest benefit for us has been improved operational efficiency: it shortens turnaround times, reduces repetitive manual effort, and helps standardize processing across different document types and clients. It also supports scalability, enabling us to onboard new clients and set up new workflows faster than traditional template-based approaches. In addition, the visibility into extracted data and the validation workflows has helped our teams spot processing gaps and steadily improve overall accuracy over time.
