What do you like best about Unit4 ERP for Hotel?

The most valuable part of UNIT4 Hotel is the automation. The financial transactions are automatically posted, direct bills are automatically generated, and reports are standardized across the board. Registrations and transactions from dissimilar property management systems are combined into one database that brings all your data to your fingertips. I like the flexibility of the reporting tools to help reconcile and analyze the data from all angles. The fact that this can be done on a Desktop or a Web version simultaneously with other users is fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP for Hotel?

Although I enjoy the flexibility and customizability of ad-hoc queries, this can be challenging for novice users looking to create a complex query. It would be nice to have more visual click-and-drag options to help with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Unit4 ERP for Hotel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canalta owns and operates many hotels from several hotel brands, and obtaining consistent, standardized data for posting to our financial module and producing reports was challenging and labour-intensive. We now receive daily extracts of detailed reservation and financial data from each of our different Property Management Systems through one API stream into the UNIT4 Hotel module. This solution saves Canalta an enormous amount of time and money by: • automatically posting each type of revenue, tax, and payment to the UNIT4 General Ledger • automatic centralized direct billing for large customer stays across multiple properties • providing consistent financial and reservation reporting across all property brands from one standard structure • past and future booking analysis per customer and/or property – excellent for our Sales team • versatile and easy-to-use customizable ad-hoc and standard query reports across all properties • web based Hotel Payroll Hours timesheet entry per property Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
