What do you like best about UltraEdit?

I have used this product for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better and better. I particularly like column mode and the ability to search and replace hex codes. Great for when you are trying to troubleshoot a rouge text file and get it into a form that can be imported into other applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

Can be a bit complicated to use for first time users but ribbon menus very extensive once you get used to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transferring text files between dis-parent applications. Extracting data from one database and loading into another. Some applications put strange characters in places that upset the destination. UltraEdit can search and replace these characters in very large files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
