What do you like best about UltraEdit?

The reasons why I like UltraEdit are:

1. It is possible to run UltraEdit in a Linux environment, as well as in Windows or macOS, it even has a portable version for mobile applications.

2. Its functionalities can be extended through a very simple and easy to use plugin manager.

3. It has a built-in terminal to execute different sets of commands.

4. It has Git integration to be able to load and version the projects they develop.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

I think there are some things that should be improved in UltraEdit such as:

1. The file explorer should be simpler.

2. They have some themes on their official page that are not installed with the software, and I think that they should already be integrated in UltraEdit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering UltraEdit:

We started using UltraEdit because it is cross-platform software and is affordable compared to other IDEs. We got used to its customization options and because it's a really light. We are satisfied and recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a great advantage to use UltraEdit over other options because it is an IDE and not a simple editor, which means that it has all the functions and extensions necessary to develop software, it even has a portable version for mobile applications.
