What do you like best about UltraEdit?

Ultraedit is extremely versatile. It contains thoughtful, well-designed features and functionality that make editing tasks productive and intuitive. It is updated frequently; the developers of the product keep abreast of developments in the IT space and adapt the software as necessary. What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use UltraEdit in my capacity as a database administrator to edit SQL scripts, jobs, format files, text input, and many other types of files. It allows me to edit very large files enabling me to alter data that has been exported from one database that will be imported to another. Edited files are automatically backed up which provides a layer of safety after an edited file has been saved back to disk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
