"UltraEdit is my favored text editor and more"

What do you like best about UltraEdit?

It is easy to use, and it does what I need to use it for. I like to cut text tid-bits in column mode replicate just a portion of my code. I use Find in Files a lot, no better alternative for it. I UltraCompare versions of programs. I search&replace in files, a must to have. It has never failed me, my best programming aid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

Replace tool does not offer spacial characters, the Help is a bit cumbersome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am a programmer, and I could not Imagine doing my job without UltraEdit. When a DBA is looking for the source of a running job, UltraEdit is to find the source code from the quoted portion of the logic that is about ro bring down the server. I was able to identify the program in a few minutes. Quick and precise! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
