What do you like best about UltraEdit?

What do I like best? The unlimited capacity has to be the first think I mentioned. But the speed at which the software handles so much data has to be my favorite thing about it. I've edited files with 10's of millions of lines. The powerful search tool and column mode are also personal favorites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

There isn't much, if anything here to dislike but I guess I can gripe about having to also purchase Ultra Compare to see the differences in different versions of a file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving problems with large files that other editors simply can't handle. Whether it is joining multiple large files are finding certain data points within multi-million record files. The powerful search and replace feature has been very helpful in cleaning up some dirty files on intake. I am now able to solve problems in minutes that use to take 2+ hours of work between multiple programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
