What do you like best about UltraEdit?

I have been using UltraEdit for years, and I don't think I'd be able to do as well as I do at my job if I didn't have UltraEdit. UltraEdit is easy to use, customizable, and really helps get the job done! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

The one thing I would like to know how to improve is how to adjust the memory settings that allow me to work with larger files. Currently large files take too long to save or run search/replace. If I could tweak UE, I would be even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering UltraEdit:

I recommend switching the screen background color to black or something similar. I find it easier to read the coding, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am involved in converting XML from one data model to another, using vendors as well as doing conversions myself. UltraEdit allows me to analyze and convert XML data quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
