What do you like best about UltraEdit?

Ability to record multiple macros to make converting text from one format into another quick (SQL column names to C# datareader, list of SQL data from SSMS resultset into comma-seperated list for WHERE x IN y clause). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

When text is highlighted and I do a search/replace, the default scope of search is full document, not selected text. I sometimes replace more than intended. Thankfully, CTRL-Z (Undo) works! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easily edit multiple large (2GB+) text files, convert CSV to column, use for SQL object manipulation using macros. Multi-line update at once. Great time saver, and I don't use 10% of the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
