What do you like best about UltraEdit?

UltraEdit is a feature rich editor that you can tailor to your needs with any kind of editing work you desire, be it JSON text, HTML, SQL or plain old simple text writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraEdit?

It starts with very dark colored back-grounds and takes a bit of effort to customize the theme to lighter ones or create a custom theme. If they could create say a "Daylight" theme and make things lighter, it may get end users up and running faster. Although I would not call this a negative point because I have met many unix programmers who keep their editor backgrounds dark! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
