## Udacity Reviews
  ### 1. Web-based learning at a professional level

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sokol R. | System coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The courses are well structured. You learn the necessary skills in small steps to complete a project at the end and submit it for examination.
It is designed intuitively. You quickly get to the previous steps to refresh your memory on a topic. You can see which steps you have already taken and roughly how much time is needed for the next step. In almost every step, there are small queries or small tasks. This allows you to implement what you have learned and reflect on how well you have understood the topic.

If you have any questions, mentors will be available and the entire Udacity community will help you in the Knowledge Base.

I was also able to use what I learned immediately and often at work

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some of the coding implementations do not work properly in every browser.
I tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am making an internal retraining as a data specialist and learn about the most varied topics on Udacity for about 1 year. In the end, I am transferred from production to administration.

  ### 2. Great place to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tai N. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The courses are well-structured and up-to-date, covering a wide range of topics from programming to artificial intelligence and data science. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with industry leaders, ensuring relevance and applicability in the real world.

One of the best aspects of Udacity is its emphasis on practical, hands-on projects. These projects allow learners to apply what they've learned in a real-world context, helping to solidify their understanding and build a portfolio that can be showcased to potential employers.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Although courses are self-paced, the depth and rigor of the material can require a substantial time commitment. Balancing this with work or other responsibilities can be challenging for some learners.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity helps bridge the skill gaps in the workforce by offering specialized, industry-relevant courses. This is particularly beneficial for professionals looking to update their skills or pivot to new roles. For example, if you want to transition from a backend developer to a data scientist, Udacity’s data science Nanodegree can provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge.

  ### 4. Great nanodegree programs for software developers.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul L. | Senior JavaScript Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I had no clear expectations when I signed up for a nanodegree program almost three years ago, but I swiftly adapted to Udacity's approach towards the learning cycle. It was blended with short videos, articles, and quizzes that created a dynamic and direct engaging experience. The modular structure of the courses helped a lot because I had a full-time job at that time. What really got me into it were the practical tasks. Those long nights with the rush of submission followed by satisfaction over tackling the intellectual puzzle are still in my memories. The insights from industrial experts were the key to my development - they led me to improve my skills beyond what I had planned.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

They do not have the particular nanodegrees I want. I'm hoping for a full two-part program on AWS serverless development. A program that walks through the entire spectrum, from minor to medium projects, would be the ideal combination of study goals for me now.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Udacity's help, I developed my core JavaScript skills. As a developer who juggles work and continuous learning, I needed a program that was both efficient and budget-friendly. Udacity achieved that too, giving me the opportunity to polish my technical abilities with great speed and no cost. The project-based way of practical learning meant I could straightaway use what I was experiencing at work, a big plus for my career growth.

  ### 5. Udacity nanodegree is a very nice program but also challenging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahalakshmi M. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Udacity offers wide range of courses that allows learners to gain practical skills in high-demand fields and earn certificates. Its self paced, easy to use and implement. Udacity provides its own chat-gpt for assisstance and we get support from peers and mentors.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Udacity nanodegree projects provide cloud lab access to help us do some handson, but the problem is it's available only for 10 hours. If we're waiting for any support from mentor to clarify some of the issue, by the time the lab will be closed and the resources will be deleted.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently moved into Data engineering from Testing, the udacity nanodegree with practical projects helped me to understand the fundamentals better.

Modern, nice documentations and the "Do-on-project" way to learn. I like the way Udacity lets their students improve all the knowledge by assessing their work.

When approach new fields/tech skills, I don't know how to start and which keywords are helpful for me. Udacity helps so much with many base concept and example.

I appreciate many aspects of Udacity, which is why I've become one of its staunchest supporters. Having explored other online platforms, books, blogs, professors, YouTube, mobile applications, company tutorials, SMEs on Twitter/X, and more, one of the standout features for me is its ability to simplify complex material, making it accessible and easy to comprehend.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I didn't find anything to dislike about Udacity. Maybe I could mention that I dedicated countless hours to studying the material and completing projects, but I didn't engage much in the social aspect of the platform—such as discussing topics with other Udacity participants.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has enabled me to establish an analytical framework to address any business problem with confidence and efficiency.
Udacity assisted me in automating numerous analytical processes within my company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The best part I enjoy using the platform is that it has an extensive library of what you need to learn and you can easily do it at your convinience. The courses are inteactive and if you're learning about something that has to do about coding, you don't even need to have an enviroment setup on your local machine, they have tools integrated so that you can learn right on your browser, save your work and submit it all from the same tool. Reviews of any projects are pretty quick, within the day you can have your work inspected for some unbiased feedback.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The only thing I dislike about Udacity is that sometimes the tools are not up to date. I did experienced some technical difficulties on a class or 2 with content not loading up.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I like that the format involves videos, reading and quizzes. This keeps it from becoming monotonous. I also like that I can work at my own pace.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Sometimes the quizzes would jump ahead and ask about material I hadn't learned yet. Sometimes there were multiple ways to solve something and they only took 1 as the right answer too.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I hadn't ever done data science before which is a growing field so Udacity gave me some great exposure to that.

  ### 14. A great learning experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gulesra D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The courses are well structured and easy to follow. In other platforms, the courses jump into the technical side directly; but in Udacity, there is a very detailed intro to all the topics and in this way, it can be well understood the logic behind the techical processes.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

It was really a tough and intensive schedule. It could be better to give some extra time to the users.

For a fresh mom like me, it was especially tough to keep up with the program.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The project submission part was really high quality. The tasks to do were explained very thoroughly and step by step (including checkboxes).
The review part I liked even more since the experts at Udacity were giving feedbacks for the submitted projects really fast! In my case, once I got the feedback in just 2 minutes and it was clearly explained how I should refine my work and I was able to pass the evaluation with the help of this helpful feedback without any difficulties.

  ### 16. Zero to Master journeys: A learning experience with self-diciplined path

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selim Gorkem Y. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Content of the courses prepared really well, it guides in all trainings with a well prepared mindset, wants to take your feedback if needed and also has a AI support which you can get help about anything! If you did not understand something, just go and ask! If you are not satisfied with the answer for it, then you can take the support from the forums also as well.

All the courses has prepared in order to get you ready for real life implementations, real-life projects are awaiting you in the end of course so you will get practice with your own.

Also there are some learning path which created by my company, which is also another dynamic support so that i know if i finish my learning path which includes 4 different nanodegrees, i will take Data Analyst certification for my company. It is another positive way for companies to support their colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Different courses has prepared by different teams, so time to time it makes it diffucult to keep following between different courses.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internet gives us a realy quick way to access any information, yet it is a "everywhere is in everywhere" situation: every different information provider or training contents are prepared different, so it is hard to follow the contents. Even if you do, then it is hard to keep following your progress: 1) you don't know what you are missing or doing wrong 2) self-motivation is another trouble

For me: Udacity gives me a chance to keep following up my track, keep me motivated, give me a huge oppurtunity to improve myself.

  ### 17. Udacity's Audacity to Challenge Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chisama M. | Devops Support Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The Self-paced learning and the availability of various support channels you can use when you require assistance gives confidence to the varying learning types of students out there. The types of projects assure that every student comes out with a level of Hands-on knowledge that makes it possible for one to go straight from the classroom to the workforce in whatever area they choose.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Initially, I was worried that for the Cloud DevOps engineering courses that forcing students to get an AWS free tier account could cause them to get into financial difficulty. However, they implemented a student portal that you can access, and you are not hampered by the costs anymore.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity gave me the ability to upskill myself and get the experience I needed to advance my career in tech. I am more productive, I have more knowledge, and I am managing a team now in less than a year after completing my Nanodegree.

I want to thank Udacity and IT Park Uzbekistan for giving me such a chance to study Data Analyst Nanodegree.

Furthermore, I find the additional supporting material provided for each course to be extremely beneficial. It allows me to delve deeper into the subject matter and enhance my learning experience. This added flexibility has been invaluable in expanding my knowledge and skills.

Another aspect of Udacity that I admire is the duration of the videos. They are concise and to the point, which is refreshing and keeps me engaged. Additionally, I appreciate the presence of thorough text explanations alongside the videos, as this helps reinforce my understanding of the concepts being discussed.

Furthermore, I am impressed with the availability of free courses that help enhance skills specific to the curriculum I have chosen. This provides a well-rounded and comprehensive learning experience, ensuring that I acquire all the necessary skills to succeed in my chosen field.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

In terms of dislikes, I honestly can't think of anything negative about Udacity. The platform provides everything I need to learn effectively and efficiently. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I am truly grateful for the comprehensive and engaging learning experience it offers. A few more suggestion is, there are some old videos in my curriculum which recorded like 2019 or 2017.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can learn anywhere in the world. From the accessibility part it is great. When it comes to cost, I don't know because I studied a Nanodegree course for free. Thanks to my organization.
Moreover, Udacity provides flexibility in terms of scheduling and learning pace. An additional thing is that the courses and nanodegree programs offered by Udacity are designed in collaboration with industry partners.

  ### 23. Love Love Love Udacity's Front-End Development Nanodegree

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Telian A. D. | Real Estate Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I was blessed enough to be a recipient of the Udacity x OneTen Scholarship to attend the Udacity Front-End Development Nanodegree Course and it honestly taught me so much about Front-End Development. I'm already building portfolio websites and it 's light a fire in me for continued learning! I'm now diving deeper into developement even UX Design. The lessons set up was awesome with tests, examples, videos, notes, and projects that applied the skills they taught! In addition I had alot of support from the team through slack. If I had any questions they answered promptly. I was even able to jump on a zoom call for walk-throughs on difficult to understand tasks. The community and staff behind this are amazing and I will certainly be taking more classes from Udacity!

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The only thing I would change from the course I completed was downloadable notes on the topics. I spent a lot of time copying notes and formatting them to look similar to the format in the classroom. If I could have simply downloaded the notes I could have spent more time studying them instead of organizing them. Other than that I have no complaints! Thanks again for the amazing opportunity!

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity solved the problem of motivation to learn these difficult tech topics. Ive tried other courses through Udemy, Alison, and edx but It could capture my attention to learn. Udemy did that! It gave structure, deadlines, support, and fun projects!

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The learning experience is very practical, hands-on and teaches us topics related to our respective field. This allows us learners to have experience rather that sitting and memorising work only to forget it after the exam, like alot of other learning institutes do.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I did not dislike anything about my experience with Udacity.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interfaces and user experience

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Sometimes the courses are outdated, due to new versions (frameworks, programming language etc..)

Udacity Makes me more confident by helping me improving my skills.

  ### 26. Excellent courses for skill development and career growth.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridget H. | Remote Sensing Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Udacity provides practical and targetted hands-on courses on various skills, with project-based learning. This really helps to practice the skills. Built in AI features for questions was a nice add-on in the latest course as well!

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Because it's entirely online, you don't get the collaborative learning experience you would when taking an in-person class, but this is the nature of online coursework. They still do a good job of having resources available - FAQs, a chat question box, mentors, etc.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity has helped me level up skills in Data Science and Python. I use these regularly in my work on data management, automation, etc.

  ### 27. Best for long-form education

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra N. | Tallinn Business Walks, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I like the fact that they give stipends/sholarships to disadvantaged communities, and the fact that- when it comes to basic tech diplomas, they have most relevant subjects covered (AI, ML, Webdevelopment, etc.)

I also like that- even if you cannot afford their full length courses- there are plenty of beginner's courses for free. So basically anyone can upskill themselves, no matter where they live.

I have directed some interns towards it, and recommended it to friends who wanted to gain basic tech skills.

For the paid courses, they have generous discount offers- to be honest, even full price is worth it.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I dont think there is anything to complain about.

  ### 30. Transformative Learning with Udacity: MLOPS and Machine Learning Excellence

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I've found Udacity to be an exceptional platform for advancing my knowledge in the fields of MLOPS and machine learning. What I like best about Udacity is the practical and industry-aligned curriculum, which equips you with the skills needed to tackle real-world challenges. The most helpful aspect has been the combination of hands-on projects, expert mentorship, and a supportive peer community. The flexible learning options, up-to-date content, and valuable career services are just some of the many upsides of using Udacity. It's been a transformative journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to excel in the world of AI and data science.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

While Udacity offers a plethora of advantages, there are some aspects where it falls short. What I dislike about Udacity is the cost, which can be a downside for some learners. Additionally, the least helpful aspect for some may be the lack of in-depth theoretical coverage in certain courses.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity effectively addresses the common problem of acquiring practical, industry-relevant skills in rapidly evolving tech fields. It benefits me by offering a solution to the challenge of staying current in areas like machine learning and MLOPS. From a business perspective, Udacity helps me acquire the expertise needed to contribute effectively to data-driven projects, thereby solving the challenge of skill gaps in the workforce and staying competitive in the digital era.

  ### 31. Best learning experience in a shortest time possible!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dilip A. | Senior Software Engineer (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Serverless), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I did my first nanodegree program almost 5 years ago and thereafter I did several nanodegree programs with Udacity. I loved the way material was delievered through combination of short videos, articles and quizez. I never felt bored and was always looking forward to build my project and submit it. Best part is the hands on projects and reviewes by professional peers in the industry.
It kept me up at night inspite of having a busy day at work. I remember submitting my project at crazy hours at night and feeling completely satisified by the take away learnings.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

It just doesn't have nanodegrees that i am after at the moment. I wish they put together a two part nanodegree with AWS serverless development covering whole range of things through small to medium projects.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me build my tech skills in a very short amount of time and also with a smaller budget.

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Flexibility while maintaining person to person support, very quick responses to questions or submitted projects

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Not quite dislike but I would like to see more examples, sometimes the concept feels vague and further research is needed which is not bad but more examples would be great

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning at self pace and using videos of experts to understand the concepts

  ### 33. Amazing source to gain skills

There are many hands-on projects to understand knowledge and reinforce technical skills.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some lessons are out dated, and sometimes mentor review is quite limited.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity makes high-quality education accessible to people around the world. This accessibility benefits me by providing opportunities for learning and skill development that might not be available through traditional educational institutions.

  ### 34. Academy-level courses with practical content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saydobid K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Udacity outshines with its user-friendly learning space and engaging support community. Courses contain not only videos but also lots of quizzes, tests, practical tasks, and various industry-level projects. Projects are evaluated by real experts in less than a day. The website structure is genuinely convenient to use. I would recommend this platform because it sets specific deadlines to accomplish goals and pass the degree.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The only thing I would suggest would be to update the course content more regularly as there are some lessons with quite outdated code features.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It annually provides scholarships to help passionate learners gain free access to IT education. It is something that makes Udacity outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some of the option (workspace) did not work well. Also, some of the reviews after submitting a project did not have enough details about what was wrong.

Get better understanding of availible products that can be use on day to day tasks

  ### 36. Courses are good

  ### 38. Online platform with real learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto N. | Machine Learning Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The most important aspect of Udacity is it has a mentorship that works. Unlike other education platforms with tests to evaluate the student's learning, Udacity has challenging milestone projects and mentors that evaluate and give helpful feedback about your solution. Your project might be rejected if it is not good enough. So you have to try hard to score, which helps you learn the subject.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I don't like how the subscription works. First, you can't pause the course. People sometimes need to take a break to solve personal issues. Second, sometimes you think a nanodegree is something you were looking for, but then you become disappointed with its contents. I would prefer to have a trial period and then choose another course if the first one was not what I was looking for.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The topics are not available in depth in Masters or MBA courses. Udacity gives me the chance to learn a subject in depth. The nanodegree gave me the knowledge, experience, and confidence to develop projects I wasn't able before.

  ### 39. Overall great experience, easy UI but some outdated material

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dora K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

User interface is easy to use. Course seactions broken down logically

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The course material started to get more confusing, it was harder to follow the course from about lesson 3. Less logical explanation of the database types that made it a bit hard to follow the practical examples. It was also using old AWS version examples so was a bit tricky to set up Redshift/EMR cluster etc. Overall great experience however.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A more in depth knowledge of what I do day-to-day at work

  ### 40. Udacity prepared me for a role change

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The best thing about udacity is the feedback instructors give after you submit a project. Plenty of times I've gotten incredible feedback that elevated my understtanding of the course material. They often will provide links to outside material that you may find useful, I know I did.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Sometimes there are assignments where they proved you a formula in the lesson before, but won't show the formula on the assignment page.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity is solving the issue of learning on the go. As a working professional I simply can't utilize brick and mortar, its not an option. Udacity fills that hole perfectly.

Most Udacity aren't just video tutorials. Instead you have the opportunity to practice your skills right away in embedded Jupyter Notebooks

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

A few of the coding environments you work in are several versions behind the current versions, so sometimes you have to use old versions of functions in a package

I am going through the Udacity program as part of my online college courses. They are honestly some of the best courses I've taken in my current studies

The hands-on and practical projects, combined with adequate and motivating feedback from mentors currently working in the field are priceless. If you put in hard work, you get compensated with a lot of extra resources.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Udacity is only for students and professionals that are willing to put in the work and go the extra mile. I would say that is actually a positive point. Hard to think of flaws. Udacity is simply the best!

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity helps people in underrepresented groups empower with their technical and business skills. My journey started back in 20017 and I am still a strong believer. Having tried hardly any platform out their to learn new skills, I feel blessed being part of the Udacity community. So much to learn, always time to improve and #lifelonglearning is now part of my name.

It has given me a way to generate dinamic reports with the knowledge I got from the course.
