## Udacity Reviews
  ### 1. Web-based learning at a professional level

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sokol R. | System coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The courses are well structured. You learn the necessary skills in small steps to complete a project at the end and submit it for examination.
It is designed intuitively. You quickly get to the previous steps to refresh your memory on a topic. You can see which steps you have already taken and roughly how much time is needed for the next step. In almost every step, there are small queries or small tasks. This allows you to implement what you have learned and reflect on how well you have understood the topic.

If you have any questions, mentors will be available and the entire Udacity community will help you in the Knowledge Base.

I was also able to use what I learned immediately and often at work

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some of the coding implementations do not work properly in every browser.
I tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am making an internal retraining as a data specialist and learn about the most varied topics on Udacity for about 1 year. In the end, I am transferred from production to administration.

  ### 2. Great place to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tai N. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The courses are well-structured and up-to-date, covering a wide range of topics from programming to artificial intelligence and data science. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with industry leaders, ensuring relevance and applicability in the real world.

One of the best aspects of Udacity is its emphasis on practical, hands-on projects. These projects allow learners to apply what they've learned in a real-world context, helping to solidify their understanding and build a portfolio that can be showcased to potential employers.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Although courses are self-paced, the depth and rigor of the material can require a substantial time commitment. Balancing this with work or other responsibilities can be challenging for some learners.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity helps bridge the skill gaps in the workforce by offering specialized, industry-relevant courses. This is particularly beneficial for professionals looking to update their skills or pivot to new roles. For example, if you want to transition from a backend developer to a data scientist, Udacity’s data science Nanodegree can provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge.

  ### 4. Great nanodegree programs for software developers.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul L. | Senior JavaScript Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I had no clear expectations when I signed up for a nanodegree program almost three years ago, but I swiftly adapted to Udacity's approach towards the learning cycle. It was blended with short videos, articles, and quizzes that created a dynamic and direct engaging experience. The modular structure of the courses helped a lot because I had a full-time job at that time. What really got me into it were the practical tasks. Those long nights with the rush of submission followed by satisfaction over tackling the intellectual puzzle are still in my memories. The insights from industrial experts were the key to my development - they led me to improve my skills beyond what I had planned.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

They do not have the particular nanodegrees I want. I'm hoping for a full two-part program on AWS serverless development. A program that walks through the entire spectrum, from minor to medium projects, would be the ideal combination of study goals for me now.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Udacity's help, I developed my core JavaScript skills. As a developer who juggles work and continuous learning, I needed a program that was both efficient and budget-friendly. Udacity achieved that too, giving me the opportunity to polish my technical abilities with great speed and no cost. The project-based way of practical learning meant I could straightaway use what I was experiencing at work, a big plus for my career growth.

  ### 5. Udacity nanodegree is a very nice program but also challenging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Udacity nanodegree projects provide cloud lab access to help us do some handson, but the problem is it's available only for 10 hours. If we're waiting for any support from mentor to clarify some of the issue, by the time the lab will be closed and the resources will be deleted.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently moved into Data engineering from Testing, the udacity nanodegree with practical projects helped me to understand the fundamentals better.
