What do you like best about Typebot?

Honestly, the free tier is a lifesaver for students. For my smart irrigation hardware project, I was absolutely dreading writing HTML and CSS for a local web dashboard just to show my NodeMCU sensor data. Instead, I used Typebot to build a chatbot interface. I hooked it up to my ESP8266 using their webhook feature. Now, the professor can literally type "what is the soil moisture?" and the bot fetches the live data directly from the hardware API. The drag-and-drop builder is super simple and saved me days of frontend coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typebot?

Trying to figure out how to parse the nested JSON response coming from my microcontroller was a bit of a headache at first. The documentation is good, but it could definitely use more basic examples for custom API integrations. Also, when my project partner and I were rigorously testing the bot the night before our final lab evaluation, we burned through the free tier's monthly chat limit pretty fast! What problems is Typebot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Building a decent-looking UI for a hardware project takes way too much time. Typebot let me skip the frontend coding completely. We ended up with a super interactive chat interface that honestly blew our external examiner's mind because they could literally "text" our smart irrigation system to get the live sensor readings.
