You can scan documents into the program and save then as a PDF,JPG, TIFF, GIF, or PCX. It serves as a central hub for organizing documents, i.e., you can drag a scan to the options for editing a scan, emailing, printing, OCR, or converting a scan to a fillable form.

Paperport, by default, uses the file structure created in the Documents folder. Thus, you are already familiar with how to store and retrieve documents.

It creates a link to your email client, Outlook. So, you can scan and then drag the scanned image to the Outlook link. The Outlook message box will appear with the scanned file attached ready for you to input your message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
