What do you like best about Truelancer?

Nothing good in this platform. Payment and review system is not good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truelancer?

They do not have a proper review system and do not listen to clients. They have no rule for suspending an account if a freelancer requests a review, like upwork and freelancer have. Freelancer begging continously for good review even lots of bad work but they are not taking action.

Client reviews are directly accessible to freelancers, so if you write a positive review, you will receive a positive review; if you write a negative review, you will receive a negative rating as well. The jobs posted are even 2 years old, there is no relevance.

Only a few new jobs are available, you may hardly find any if you're new.

What problems is Truelancer solving and how is that benefiting you?

To be honest, I haven't experienced significant benefits so far. As mentioned earlier, the available jobs seem outdated, and the process of buying connects every month to secure projects is less favorable compared to other platforms where you can utilize existing connects before purchasing new ones. This aspect didn't sit well with me.

However, I must acknowledge the uniqueness of their approach, particularly the concept of contests. It adds an interesting dimension to the platform. Additionally, the interface is remarkably user-friendly, making navigation and interactions seamless.

For this platform to thrive in the competitive market, it needs to focus on engaging a broader audience, both clients and freelancers. This could involve incorporating more features that attract and retain users, enhancing communication channels, and providing additional incentives for active participation.

In conclusion, while the platform shows potential with its innovative contest concept and appealing interface, improvements are necessary to create a more dynamic ecosystem and increase its attractiveness to a wider range of users in the competitive market. What do you like best about Truelancer?

The perfect thing I like is its easy use, and there are more opportunities if you start freelancing. The platform didn't have as much traffic as other freelancing platforms. You can get your first job quickly, as I got in the first four days of joining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love the most about Truelancer is that it is never short of projects! s a freelancer, you get to bid on abundant projects. It's not exactly my 'dislike' for the platform but just a sort of suggestion! Often clients ask writers to write a new sample. Though the site never recommends providing a free writing sample, but it also does not stop the client from doing so. Hence, it becomes a confusing condition for the writers whether to say Yes or No for a free sample as few clients do not respond even after getting top quality free sample!
