"Good learning tool; easy to use for the most part, but navigation could be improved!"

What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

I am able to easily track and see which trainees are signed up for what courses and their progress on each. I also like being able to navigate which modules and courses are connected to each other. The ability to add, edit, and see trainee information from the Trainer Dashboard is also really nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn?

I do not like how easy it is to go in circles when navigating between modules and courses together. You have to click them in a specifc order and sometimes it can send you into a loop. I wish it was easier to be able to download and view the content slides for each module. If I wanted to view the content, I also only see a limited amount of slides instead of the whole presentation; to see the whole thing I need to download, however my network does not let me view .zip files, so it's annoying at times. "Safety training made easy"

What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

I love the ease of creating and editing modules. Being able to replace one slide instead of having to create a new module every time there was an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn?

The system has become really glichy. Trainees will sometimes click the next button to go to the next slide and they will be taken backwards several slides. Also sometimes trainees will get caught in a "loop" where the module shows its 100% complete but it won't let them advance and displays "in progress" instead of "complete." Its a known issue that has been going on for over a year without resolve. I had this problem last year in annual training and its still going on this year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Learn:

If you have a large company that requires employees to go through annual training, Mindflash is great and managing that information. We tested other systems and by far for ease of use and ease of admistering the courses it was by far the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mitratech Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before all of our safety training was done with binders and paper test. Updating all of the binders every time there was a change and hand grading all of the test were a burden. Updating a slide or 2 directly in Mindflash and having the test calculated freed so much time. Also, being about to send the training to contractors who perform work at our building helped us from having to track down people and make sure they signed the paperwork Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lots of Features, But Clunky"

What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

They've gone above and beyond to try and help us, even implementing a feature we requested! The classes we have on Trakstar Learn generate continuing education credit, so we're grateful that the system is robust enough to handle the types of content and reporting we need. Uploading courses is easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn?

Trakstar Learn is a user interface nightmare: it is so difficult for our users to navigate and troubleshoot, and we have to guide them through even basic functions such as retaking a quiz.

There are bugs, and the error messages are misleading and vague. For example, if a user hasn't completed a course all the way through, and the course glitches, they get a message that says "You have completed this course 100%!" We then have to explain over the phone that no, it is not complete, you'll have to find the part of the course that isn't done.

Since we provide classes for mostly outside learners, archiving users and reinstating them is a gigantic pain. Our users take classes once every three years or so, so they need to be archived regularly, and reinstated on demand. Trakstar Learn really can't handle this well. What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

Training courses are easy to set up and function smoothly. There are good options for designing courses to suit my needs. Reports can be created from within courses or at the reporting tab. It is an outstanding program aside from the glitches and issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn?

We used this for staff training for two years with no issues. Then Mindflash was acquired by another company and started making "upgrades". This has resulted in glitches--which would be expected, but the problem is that it takes forever to get them resolved. For months, I've been told that the issues are on a list for the tech team to look at. In the meantime, I have to find a workaround to get what I need. Fortunately, it seems to work correctly on the trainee side, so it's just the admin side that has issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Learn:

I love Mindflash's features and abilities, and it has suited our needs very well. It's easy to set up and use, both on the admin side and the trainee side. I only wish there were quicker response to glitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We onboard hundreds of independent contractors every year. Mindflash helps us provide consistent training nationwide and keeps accurate records. "Tech Support's Perspective"

What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

Trakstar is pretty seamless for even the least tech savvy individual. As a Tech Support Specialist, I often have to "hold the hands" of our clients when navigating various platforms. Users rarely find Trakstar difficult to use and we typically do not need to assist them in locating their modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mitratech Learn?

We have had some instances in which Trakstar did not properly record a user's quiz results. In these instances, we either need to push the user along to the next module or have them retake the quiz, which can sometimes cause some frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mitratech Learn?

I like that you can track what has been completed, what is in progress, and areas that staff may need more support based off their score when completing the trainings we created and sent out. It is solving time management because staff are able to complete these courses on their own so that we only need to complete a follow up afterwards to go over areas that they may need more assistance in. I wish it could give us better tracking for SCORM files made outside of Trakstar. I am not a techy person at all so I don't know if this is possible, but if there is a way to integrate the passing score from a SCORM file into Trakstar's dashboard, that would be amazing.
