I really value how Tradeapp centralizes all our inter-province trade transaction records in a single dashboard. It's super helpful during month-end close cycles, as I can quickly pull supplier purchase logs and cross-check expense entries without having to bounce between dozens of spreadsheets. The simple filtering feature is great too, letting me locate specific trade-related invoices in seconds. This centralized dashboard makes it easy to view all cross-province supplier trades at once, saving me from toggling between disjointed workbook tabs. The filtering tool speeds up our review workflow by letting me quickly isolate freight and wholesale-trade invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tradeapp has clear shortcomings for Canadian accounting workflows. It lacks built-in GST/HST handling for multi-province transactions, so I need to recalculate tax amounts manually for every BC and Alberta client invoice. Its export outputs also don’t map cleanly to CRA-required reporting formats, forcing extra spreadsheet reformatting. The real pain point was Canadian tax configuration; there are no pre-loaded CRA or multi-province GST/HST templates out of the box. For example, we had to manually build custom fields to log place-of-supply information ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
