I really appreciate how Tower CRM keeps property-related client records and follow-up tasks neatly organized for our Wiesbaden property management team. Our small 11–50 person team manages over 120 residential rental units across Wiesbaden, handling dozens of property owners, active tenants, and prospective renters at the same time. Tower CRM makes it straightforward to link every contact profile directly to their corresponding rental unit, stored lease agreement records, maintenance tickets, and monthly rent communication logs.
When a tenant emails our team to report a broken heating fixture or ask about lease renewal terms, I just open their contact profile in Tower CRM. All past service requests, previous message threads, and contract expiry dates load instantly. I no longer need to flip between our Seafile document library, separate Excel rent tracking sheets, and email archives to piece together their full history.
The built-in task reminder function fits our property management workflow extremely well. I set automated alerts inside Tower CRM for upcoming lease expirations, quarterly property inspection appointments, rent arrears follow-ups, and annual owner report deadlines. These notifications pop up on my dashboard and also send email reminders, so our team rarely overlooks time-sensitive rental matters.
Its role-based permission controls are another big plus. I can limit access so maintenance staff only see their assigned service tickets, while only our admin team can view confidential financial details like security deposit amounts and owner payout data. This helps us comply with German data privacy requirements and protects sensitive tenant information. Overall, Tower CRM reduces hours of manual cross-referencing work each week and keeps our property portfolio cases structured for our whole team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One main pain point I run into with Tower CRM is how it handles document attachments tied to our lease records. We keep all our rental contracts and addendums stored on Seafile, and while Tower CRM lets me paste links to those files, there’s no native way to preview PDFs directly inside the platform. Every time I need to quickly check a clause in a tenant’s contract, I have to click the link, sign into Seafile separately, and open the document in another browser tab. It adds extra clicks and breaks my workflow, especially during busy mornings when I’m juggling inspection prep and tenant calls.
I also find the reporting tool pretty limited for our German property management work. I need simple recurring reports, like a list of leases set to expire in the next 90 days or tenants with overdue rent payments. The default report templates don’t match what we need, and building custom filters takes way longer than expected. Some of the date formatting options don’t follow European date conventions either, so I often mix up day and month unless I double-check every entry manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
