What do you like best about Torque3D?

Easy to use for a beginner. Hardware requirements aren't too crazy so you don't need to have a powerhouse computer to run it. Very good for prototyping new concepts and new levels. Also a pretty flexible engine. Can create nearly anything your mind can come up with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Torque3D?

Not as powerful as other engines out there like Unreal. Not really an engine where you'll be creating groundbreaking AAA titles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Torque3D:

Do not expect to release technologically advanced AAA games using this engine. It is a very good engine to release indie titles and as a teaching tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Torque3D solving and how is that benefiting you?

Torque3D is actually a very easy and cheap tool for teaching newcomers on the basics of game design and development. Highly recommended for educational purposes and for indie game development where budget might be an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
