What do you like best about Together.ai?

It’s just so fast. If you’ve ever tried to run open-source models yourself, you know how much of a headache the infrastructure is. With Together, you can just grab an API key and start playing with all these models, like Llama or Mistral. It feels like it was actually designed to be fast, and the inference is just snappier than the other platforms I’ve tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Together.ai?

It is definitely not for the beginner. If you are not comfortable with coding or APIs, you are going to be totally lost because the documentation is a bit thin in places. If you are not careful with your testing, you can end up with a bill that is a lot higher than you expected at the end of the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Together.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?

It prevents you from having to be a “server whisperer.” Before this, you would spend half your day just trying to keep a GPU cluster up and running. Together does all the heavy lifting so that you can just focus on the AI. It is good for me because I can prototype an idea in the afternoon as opposed to spending a week just setting up the environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
