The speed and the user-friendliness. You can easily automate in a few mouse clicks the most complex data processes: data cleaning, computation of kpis, scoring, etc. You practically never have to write one line of code (but you can also code if you really want to) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I already received a data transformation made by a colleague that was leaving the company. This data transformation was complex (more than 100 nodes). So, it was difficult to understand. I regret that Anatella does not impose by itself any boundary of the complexity of a transformation. This might lead to a difficult situation for maintenance of very large transformations. On the other side, the visual representation of the transformation is really helpful to understand what’s going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s true that Anatella does not impose any limit on the number of boxes inside a data transformation.
Anatella-data-transformation-graphs with more than 1500 boxes are running flawlessly. We proud ourselves on giving to our users a tremendous power: The power to develop&create anything that they would like! No limitations!
But with great powers come great responsibilities! 😉
And, indeed, it can happen some uncomfortable situations where you end-up with a “gigantic” data-transformation-graph! To prevent this situation to ever happen we are now directly teaching some “best practices” when working with Anatella inside our basic Anatella training video: the link to the “Anatella Best Practice” training video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=326Er9oJQLQ&list=PL4qkG0nrZkJ0LYgHB1oSYFcDvvfbPRCpv&index=8&t=45s
We are aware that our users are creating very complex machine learning & AI systems with Anatella. So, with Anatella, we created a system where maintenance, support and, in general, any activity to improve an already existing analytical system would be as easy as possible.
For example, Anatella integrates with any revision control system (GIT, subversion) to allow you to easily maintain your data-transformation-graphs.
Anatella has also some unique functionalities to support “iterative works”: See here for more details about this very interesting subject: https://timi.eu/timi/anatella/metadatafree
Using these unique “iterative work functionalities” from Anatella, it’s actually easy to “refactor” a gigantic data-transformation-graph into a serie of smaller graphs that are easier to maintain and improve.
