"Robust API, Fast Runs, and Smart Scheduling Results with Timefold"

What do you like best about Timefold?

API is robust and accessible, making for easy integration in our own product. Web interface makes for easy review of results and comparison across experiments. Schedule generation runs are fast and handling of many runs together is great. Our account team has been incredibly helpful in both understanding the product and in navigating the specific schedule features we seek to include. The resulting schedules have been remarkably close to human targets on review, pointing to a very smart underlying algorithm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timefold?

Nothing, really. It did take us a while to get up to speed, but that was mostly about the depth of nuance in schedule management/generation itself and not really about any shortcoming in the Timefold product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Timefold solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are working on generating fair and full schedules for staff. Prior to integrating the timefold product, that was a process that fell entirely on managers and required both a lot of brainpower and a lot of time. Timefold allowed us to relatively quickly build a tool that gets to an almost-perfect schedule that managers now just have to tweak. And the nature of the platform models has meant that we can continually refine our pipeline so that the need for human intervention gets smaller and smaller with each pass.
