What do you like best about Timefold?

Timefold is a flexible framework and API for solving large-scale planning problems with PlanningAI. It handles real-world constraints exceptionally well and can be applied across many different industries and use cases. Built on a Java-based technology stack, it integrates seamlessly with existing business applications and external APIs.

The solver's performance is continuously improving, allowing increasingly large and complex planning problems to be solved efficiently. The Enterprise Edition further enhances scalability with features such as multi-core solving and nearby selection.

As a close partner of Timefold, I have repeatedly experienced outstanding support from the team. Whenever questions or challenges arose, expert assistance was readily available through multiple communication channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timefold?

Timefold focuses on meta-heuristics to deliver optimal, algorithmic answers for real-world planning problems.

What problems is Timefold solving and how is that benefiting you?

Timefold solves planning problems such as employee rostering, complex vehicle routing, project planning, meeting scheduling, and many other use cases, which helps organisations use their resources more efficiently and be more productive. Since I provide custom consulting and build solutions on top of the Timefold framework and APIs, it also helps me deliver tailored solutions that fit each business’s needs.
