Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly sets them apart.
- Internal users appreciate ThoughtSpot's easy-to-use and intuitive interface which allows non-technical individuals to interact with data and gain insights

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

- Some users have noted that there are limitations when it comes to supported visualizations and access controls. More flexibility in this area would be appreciated.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 2. ThoughtSpot as embedded product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

The UI is very sleek and modern. There is some great funtionality and the data visualizations can empower the user to discover more and find the answers to their own questions. The technology behind it is constantly being worked on and new releases are coming out consistently. Implementation was fairly straighforward, there are some nuances. Overall it was pretty easy to integrate with our main product. My Account Executive has been amazing to work with and goes the extra mile to answer any questions or help find a solution to any challenge we are having.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

The functionality and interactivity inside each data tile is not as intuitive as expected. There are some limitations with their existing UI that can be challenging and unable to be modified. This can be a challenge when embedding the product that ideally needs to look/ feel like our product. There are some technical constraints with data sets. If you are using any sort of data integration outside of a data warehouse, be sure to work closely with the ThoughtSpot engineers to ensure compatibilty. Overall a great product with some room to improve on their embedded experience.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using an embedded experience allowed us to go-to-market faster and empower our users to answer data questions and empower users to eplore their data more. The funcationality can really help users who are not data experts feel successful.

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

The team really help you get the most out of the product and benefit from all of the features.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes the features dont suit all of our needs so we need to create some workarounds

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting live, easy to read and understand analytics out to our clients whenever they need them.

 ### 4. Innovative BI tool which feels approachable for business users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Quick implementation, intuitive UI for business users, innovative features (AI questions), great drill and interactive functionality for business users, awesome customer support, embedding dashboards into our customer portal is easy and works well.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Thoughtspot is a premium option on the market, limited customization that comes with the nice user interface.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use thoughtspot for 2 purposes: 1. Making data and insights available to the entire company. 2. Embedding dashboards and data for our customers to access in our customer portals.

 ### 5. Happy with Thoughtspot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy R. | System Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Easy to review, easy to build your own custom dashboards

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Nothing I can think of - I use it almost every day.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly put information into dashboards

 ### 6. modern analytics interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheryl N. | Director of Data, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

nice visuals, modern approach to analytics, efficiencies with TML, good customer support, good embedded functionality

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

report components are not re-usable e.g. formulae, some features still not matured, e.g. syncs breaking, and sync to slack only shows first page

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allowing us to roll out access to our clients by making use of embedded analytics and also row level security
improving data usage by sync to slack and gsheets

 ### 7. Great BI Tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I use ThoughtSpot almost everyday and the real-time analytics have been super helpful in driving a deeper understanding of customer system usage and helping to uncover pains. Also it integrates with a pretty diverse set data sources to drive those analytics, which is super important for our company/industry. The visualization and reporting tools provide solid functionality for our basic needs, and the AI-driven insights have helped in uncovering patterns.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

The learning curve was a little steeper than expected, just a little less intuitive for users unfamiliar with business intelligence tools. However, once comfortable it is easy to naviagate.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot is helping to solve our basic needs around understanding customer usages and entitlements which helps inform our team from sales to services to product around what customers are doing, where they are struggling and how we can best help them. This is giving me the ability to have more informed conversations with each customer and drive more value add conversations with those customers.

 ### 8. Easy to search, takes some time to get used to

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I love the search tab. I've never been able to ask for exactly what I want. Even if it takes some poking around until I find what I'm looking for, at least I have the option to do that. I think the UI is great too.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

I wish it was easier to change the dates you are looking at. Ideally, being able to zoom in on a line chart or zoom out to get more or less granular would be awesome. I struggle with looking at different timespans. And also sometimes to find what I'm looking for I really have to hunt around different buttons and settings, when I think it could've been more easily found with the search bar if there were more options. Lastly, searching across multiple datasets in search data would be beneficial

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding customer consumption and detailed usage reports to help identify churn risk and expansion opportunities

 ### 9. It is Ok

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick H. | D&TO Portfolio Manager / Business Strategy Manager III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I liked when we had the direct support from TS employees.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

It is not very easy to use and is a mix of coding languages that doesn't have clear guidance on the configuartion. Also, the answers are very much plug and play and if you do not have all the attributes correctly selected in the back end, or want to try different chart options it is not very user friendly. On the demo end we used to be able to get help directly from TS employees but they took that away so now its even more difficult to get answers and solutions. Not to mention the recent update stopped wrapping my text and now it just stops at one line and has "..." and from a reporting standpoint, this is not good. There is not enough "street" knowledge about TS and how to use it.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inconsistant rteporting

 ### 10. Thoughtspot at Les Schwab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

TS is a great, intuative tool to consume data with the end goal of presenting information in an easy to understand format. This tool prioritizes have answers at your fingertips which allows for free form business conversations to pull in data backed proofs. The Data Lake TS can pull from is very impressive, easily able to span across many parts of the business.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There is a decent learning curve to understand the capabilities of TS because it is such a unique tool. Not a real issue in the grand scheme of things, but worth noting.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thoughspot is ideal for socializing data that is easily understoodm across multiple expertises and business functions to place data as common ground. We use TS to discuss sales data to drill down to target various strategic changes to our business plan.

 ### 11. Eases access to data with a modest learning curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I like how intuitive simple queries can be to create. Sometimes, it is as straightforward as just typing in the question you want to answer with your data - especially since the AI-Answer functionality has been available.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Building your own query with words, for more complicated questions can sometimes over-simplify or pull in the wrong parameters. Results can be accurate for the query that was created, but some institutional knowledge of the datasets is still required to ensure that the correct fields are being used for the specific business question being asked.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When an ad-hoc request comes in for simple descriptive stats, ThoughtSpot has been a great tool. Most queries are fairly straightforward to create. The visualization tool is accessible and provides a great way to quickly generate digestible representations of the data.

 ### 12. Impressive capabilities, well thought out implementation...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

In my daily use of ThoughtSpot I've found it to be feature rich and capable. I'm still learning the more advanced features, and what I've learned so far has been easy to understand, with good documentation and tutorials. I look forward to digging into the more advanced uses for my day to day tasks.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

While in general I find there are few downsides, there are some concepts and implementations that do take some time and effort to understand. Having said that, the documentation and examples/tutorials are helpful. The web-based interface can be klunky from time to time, but I believe that is more of the browser and connectivity side of the playing field than ThoughtSpot itself.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot is my go-to platform for immediate access to company performance data. While there is a learning curve, it has been easy to get up and running for my day to day data analytics needs for myself and my internal clients, allowing me to turn around reports and requests quickly and efficiently.

 ### 13. My team built a complex reporting solution using ThoughtSpot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

ThoughtSpot is great in that it makes it easy to create new reports and for users to slice and dice the data in different ways. The team behind it is very smart and capable and it is always improving as a product.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes it's hard for developers to give up the ability to write their own SQL. This is the tradeoff when using a BI tool. But the benefit of this is the flexibility it gives the end-user to change the parameters of a search in realtime.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot helps us use our historical data to show our customers the value add that our base product is providing. In addition, it allows our users to get personalized insights into their own computing environments. Many of our customers have requests for custom reports and ThoughtSpot makes it possible to create these without developers getting involved.

 ### 14. Great data visualization/analytics tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine K. | Director of Marketing & Community, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

We connect ThoughtSpot to our community to track engagement. Without ThoughtSpot, we wouldn't have access to this level of analytics, as it isn't provided to us by our platform. I love the variety of ways there are to slice and dice the data.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes it's not intuitive to use, and it isn't always easy to know exactly what you need to type in to get the results you're looking for.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our current platform does not give us a high enough level of analytics to track member engagement. ThoughtSpot gives us the tools to do this.

 ### 15. Solid comprehensive data analytics solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I like that I can analyze a single customers or any number of customers' data all from one location. I also like that I can export said data, format it myself and then send to colleagues or share with the customer themselves which is very helpful

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

I would say the minor formatting details that require exact information be entered to get the desired output of data is a little annoying at times. This could possible be how my company has it setup for our usage and not a requirement from the solution itself

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently in software sales so the information I obtain from Thoughtspot helps me make educated decisions on what solutions the customer already has and what other solutions they may benefit from

 ### 16. Pretty Good. Missing some niche features.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

It makes it really easy for people who are non-technical to answer questions.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There are a couple of things that are rough around the edges and features that are missing. For example, if you want to add a new column to a table, you have to completely edit the database connection, rather than editing just the table. This becomes a bigger issue if you don't have the right permissions. Also the whole concept of data table vs. worksheet is confusing and weird.

Missing features include things like converting measures to dimensions on the fly, replacing references in a table, table calculations, ect.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our main BI tool. It allows us to serve our large organization with a relatively lean team. We were able to get out of the way of building reports and have been able to put that in the hands of users.

 ### 17. Fantastic BI platform that offers quick and reliable ways to derive insights from our data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Thoughtspot is very easy to use and is also easy to teach to new users. The liveboard creation is fast and allows us to quickly deliver important insights to our users.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

The organization leaves a lot to be desired, tags are ok but some kind of hierarchical structure like folders would be great

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data is vast and can be very complex to create dashboards that cater to all of our business users. Thoughtspot's explore and drill down functionality has been very beneficial for our users that need to take analytics to the next level and explore all of the data that we have to offer.

 ### 18. I can't emphasize enough how much ThoughtSpot has transformed our daily operations at Lululemon.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

The interface of ThoughtSpot is incredibly user-friendly, especially for people like me who struggle with challenging data. It enables us to create reports, dashboards, and handle data without requesting POwer BI assistance.

The search feature on ThoughtSpot is incredibly quick compared to other search engines. It's like having a data finding quick capability. We no longer waste a ton of time searching for data manually thanks to this.

ThoughtSpot meet our requirements as a new technology. Our analytics tool is created to our specifications, complete with personalized data and integration with the rest of our tech used in the company.

We enjoy exchanging data-related ideas, and ThoughtSpot makes it simple to do so.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Here are some things I've observed as a Retail Experience Function Consultant that aren't so great:
ThoughtSpot is designed to be user-friendly, however non-data professionals might need some training to utilize it effectively. I had a hard time in training and getting trained by ourselves.
ThoughtSpot is not inexpensive. With those license fees and additional expenses, small firms can feel the pinch when credits goes low. But keep in mind that it can be worthwhile for the data intelligence.
ThoughtSpot can communicate with the majority of systems, but there are occasions when it's like trying to squeeze a square peg into a round hole. It can get difficult and technical.
Large Data Issues: ThoughtSpot may struggle a little when you have a ton of data or challenging queries. To make it work, it needs to be fine-tuned.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool makes data access more user-friendly and accessible to non-technical people. Real-time insights are provided, enabling quicker decision-making. Operations are streamlined by removing the requirement for manual data extraction and processing.
Business users now have the option to design their own reports and dashboards, giving them more independence in their data collection.
Teams may simply work together on data and share knowledge, making collaboration easier.
Additionally, it scales easily to meet our expanding data needs. Additionally, it improves data security and control, which is important, particularly in a retail scenario.
Overall, it greatly improves every aspect of operational effectiveness.

 ### 19. AI Forward Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpit V. | Social Media Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2024

the feature to generate automated insights powered by GEN AI model.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

The visualization features are not up to the mark

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact to quickly generate insights and get answers to questions based on data and visuals.

 ### 20. Good but slow

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

ThoughtSpot allows me to break down data metrics in a variety of ways. It gives me up to date numbers that allow me to pivot my work and get a holistic view as well.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

I have to refresh the whole site each time I want to access my most updated data. It would be helpful for the system to update and not require a full refresh to view. I use Thoughspot throughout the day.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thoughtspot is giving us a full picture with data. I can use it for its holistic view and then hone in on certain areas based on metrics that need change.

 ### 21. Customer Success Manager

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Liveboards are easy to make and put together. The visualizations are nice options and creating liveboards feels pretty intuitive.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

ThoughtSpot is very slow loading which is the biggest callout. The DMV Sloth meme comes to mind. Also when building multiple Answers the data often "breaks" and needs to be reloaded.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a User working in Customer Success department. I use Thoughspot to analyze and report on my client performance using our SaaS platfrom. I use it to help me prepare for monthly touch bases, Quarterly business reviews and renewal conversations. I use it to help me identify opportunities and successes in our customers using our platform.

Thoughtspot is great product and I think more functionality should be added. Such as functionality like powerbi

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We querying the data from the snowflake and prepared to show the relevant highlights of the data.

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Natural language search bar, semantic layer, ease of dev.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Lack of customizability with legend values, colors, and ordering. Occasional bugginess. Inability to update int data type to varchar in TML. Needs a better integration with dbt and dbt semantic layer. Needs a better integration with github to version control dash tml

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Embedding BI layer for internal and external partner.

 ### 27. Useful data aggregation tool

Solving our issue of how to measure cases completed and display data from Salesforce

 ### 28. Useful but not perfect

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

It has a great level of detail available from high level categories to individual item info.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes it is hard to figure out which attributes/columns are what I am looking for. I also get confused when there are multiple data sources I pull from but I am not sure what I can use together vs separate.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to lots of data in one spot

 ### 29. ThoughtSpot is an intuitive tool that allows user to easily access analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

It's easy to get started in ThoughtSpot. Everything is intuitive and easy to use. Easy to share across users.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

The interface can look a bit better. To me it isn't the most eye-captivating application

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publishing analytics datasets widely to users so they can access and create their own reports/ liveboards for their own analytics needs

 ### 30. Intuitive and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

its so easy to find what you're looking for, to configure data however you want to see it, create calculations etc. rather than trying to figure out what table to use to pull data in MS Access, its very instinctual to pull the data you need from Thoughtspot.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

sometimes i find that the data in a report doesn't match when i start applying filters. for example, if i'm looking at a $'s variance at a high level it will display $XXM but then when i drill down to the indivual drivers the numbers don't seem to align which causes me to question the integrity, but that could just be a user error vs thoughtspot error.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

informing me of how i am tracking to my sales plan, how my business is performing, where i need to make adjustments, what trends are forming. allows me to create visuals that are easy to decipher data.

 ### 31. Stakeholders love it, still some important features that are lacking

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Stakeholders love that it is much easier to use compared to a previous BI tool we implemented
Cost is reasonable compared to competitors
Snowflake integration

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

For our use case, there are key limitations, such as a lack of date parameter functionality comparable to other BI tools.
Some features are released but feel as if they are not fully fleshed out
Support has overall been pretty responsive. However, some tickets have been open for a long time, which has necessitated workarounds.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a very limited number of licenses with a previous BI tool, and the reports were difficult to use. If you wanted a different view of the data, you needed to know SQL. ThoughtSpot has been much more user-friendly with features like Explore.

 ### 32. Great product, very easy to use. Immediate value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Helps me very easily understand how much my customers are using our software. Extremely helpful in rightsizing renewal contracts.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Nothing comes to mind. Overall great product.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thoughtspot is providing visibility into all of my customers utilization of our software product.

 ### 33. Our ThoughtSpot journey has been a tremendous success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

1) The leadership team and staff are excellent
2) The cloud product continues to deliver new features and value each month
3) We evaluated over 15 vendors during our evaluation and ThoughtSpot was the clear winner
4) It supports our need for multi-tenant, SaaS delivery to our customers
5) The new Sage GPT/AI feature will be a game changer
6) They listen to feedback and new enhancement requests and incorporate those into the product

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

1) Need more support of features for Amazon Redshift data store
2) Needs to be more flexible to embed content beyond using iFrames
3) Sage/GPT needs the ability to understand industry specific data models and metrics
4) Continue to improve integration with predictive analytic tools and models

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Predictable cost model
2) Saas delivery - no need to host, upgrade, and support software
3) BI layer for our near real-time operational reporting solution

 ### 34. Thoughtspot makes business analytics easy and quick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

It gives end users the ability to directly see deep insights around their data. It also also enables the quick sharing of valuable liveboards and answers to continued questions throughout the company.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Some reporting features can be slow and cumberson when adjusting views, I do wish some could be sped up

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the divide between SOPs users and sales users when trying to access data insights.

 ### 35. Great for analysts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Thoughtspot has a lot of great functionality, great support and is easy to use as a beginner analyst

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes it is hard to know what feature to use

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LMS reporting metrics

 ### 36. Using ThoughtSpot

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Easy to use existing ThoughtSpot reports as well as creating your own reports.
Natural Language

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Finding the data/fields for new reports can be challenging.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding both legacy and current data.

 ### 37. ThoughtSpot enables End-Users to query a Data Warehouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Analytic Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

ThoughtSpot really makes it easier for End-Users to query a Data Warehouse as there is no need for SQL knowledge and Maintainers can set up Worksheets containing all required Joins and even add pre-calculations and additional logic.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

One has to be careful to set up a Worksheet to avoid ambiguous Column Names, but even here ThoughtSpot tries to help by pointing these out.
Other than that I have not come across any big problems.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End-Users can query the Data Warehouse with an intuitive interface which nearly gives natural language feeling when creating queries (or answers as they are called within TS)

 ### 38. Very likeable user interface

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Easy to understand, easy to visually digest

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

data dumps can be at different times compared to report store

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping data in an easy view; ease of access of information

 ### 39. A Killer BI Product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

The ease with which it uses NLP for BI. With a few simple expressions, you can get recommended visualization for your desired question regarding the business. The key aspects is the data modelling part where you have to be SPOT on with your THOUGHTS to make this work EXACTLY as you want.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

TML and import/export is slightly tricky and not many resources to get help from. As this is an evolving product, I am sure these will be addressed. The company should have support centers for users who want advanced topics.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Grafana earlier, which had a query-based interface. After that, using ThoughtSpot was a breeze. ThoughtSpot makes it so easy for our use cases, and if the data modeling part is right, you will face no issues with ThoughtSpot.

 ### 40. Sales Engineer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Ease of use and quick creation of dashboards

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There seem to be moments where ThoughtSpot is running slowly and my data take time to load.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is helping us create dashboards quicker than what was possible with Tableau. This has given my team a lot more time back in the day!

 ### 41. ThoughtSpot is the best BI tool out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I love ThoughtSpot's UI the most. I always say it is like the Apple of BI tools. I also love the ability to develop Liveboards and other objects through the TML. I also love that there are new often frequently and these updates are actually relevant to the developers and end users. It makes me excited about the product!

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

I find that the technical capabilities on the developer side are lacking, the UI often has bugs and glitches that makes things challenging. There a few basic BI feautres I wish ThoughtSpot was able to provide.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot allows for our business users to navigate dashboards and explore data in an easy way. The UI allows business users to easily manipulate existing report for their specific needs. We just launched the tool with the organization but we feel once we put all our governance procedures in place ThoughtSpot specifically will allow us to be successful.

 ### 42. ThoughtSpot is a huge time saver when it comes to quickly analyzing and reporting on data.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah (Jerry) W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

The ease of use. Not needing to know specific syntax makes using this tool extremely easy compared to other means of reporting on the same data. ThoughtSpot does a great job of figuring out what you want to see.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There are few options to customize the look of a map view type of chart. It would be nice to have different icons for different layers. For example, be able to plot site locations on a map using a tower icon and plot customer ticket locations or outage locations on the same map using a different icon. The basic grey map is also not very useful when zooming in on a specific area, as no details (state, city, street, etc.) are shown.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot is solving the problem of being able to quickly analyze and report on data pertinent to my department's success metrics. Old ways of reporting and analyzing data were slow and challenging for the end user.

 ### 43. Great tool for Business Performance Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parthiban B. | OFS Global Income Statement Leader , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Ease of viewing and downloading big data.
Customizable reports.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Still has an element of manual work required.
User interface can be better and more straightforward in building tables/ running reports.
Would be great if the interface can be closer to how it is done in SAP.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables me to process big data at a short space of time and no 'runtime errors'.
Enables me to run routine reports at a click of a button.
Business has benefitted from these reports.

 ### 44. ThoughtSpot is great for dashboards, sharable throughout the company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

I love the sharable dashboards for quick win loss reporting throughout the organization

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Sometimes setting up filters and managing views can be confusing

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Supporting the socialization of win loss throughout my organization

 ### 45. Speed, Scalability & Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eddie W. | Manager, Merchandise Planning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

With ThoughtSpot, users have much easier access to data. They're able to see data that, before, they may not even have known existed. This improves data literacy and allows new and different types of analysis.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There could be slightly easier functionality with copy/pasting out of ThoughtSpot in a table format. Sometimes there's ad hoc work that needs to be done on the fly in a spreadsheet

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtSpot allows me to be much more agile in my analysis of operational KPIs. As I forecast financially what I expect our business to deliver, I need granular data to understand impact of new SKUS, promotions, regions, pricing and loyalty.

 ### 46. Easiest way to visualise data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Live data connection with simple visuals

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Limited functionality to customize visuals

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping make quicker dashboards

 ### 47. The most efficient business intelligence and analytics platform I've seen so far!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samara M. | Digital Transformation Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

There are many unique features in Thoughtspot that I favor. These include,
-Allows us to ask questions in natural language and receive answers through interactive visualizations.
- ThoughtSpot uses machine learning algorithms to surface insights and trends in the data, making it easier for users to discover important information.
- Allows us to access and analyze data without technical expertise or IT support.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

There are only very few things I dislike about Thoughtspot. They are,
- While ThoughtSpot is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use, it can still be complex to set up and configure, especially for large and complex data sets.
- ThoughtSpot is a superior business intelligence and analytics platform, which can be expensive for some organizations, especially small and medium-sized businesses.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves for my company and me is that ThoughtSpot's machine learning-driven insights and natural language processing capabilities make it easier for users like us to find and explore the data we need without needing technical expertise.

 ### 48. Great product for monitoring productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Pulls all relevant metrics into one screen with helpful graphs reflecting data over time

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Still doesn't reflect all relevant data my team is looking for, but I know that is still in progress at this time.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Watching team metrics & providing relevant cycle time feedback. Allows me to see outstanding cases that have been pending for long periods of time, along with case numbers and preparer details. If I'm having any issues, we've been able to go directly to our internal POC supporting this feature to have them fixed or get help when needed, extremely fast.

 ### 49. Highest ROI in the industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Landon C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

Ease of use and trend of feature additions

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

I would like for loading time to be more optomizable. I also prefer creating data sources in the DW because worksheets can be really slow to load.

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing our business users to have real-time data and get answers to data questions without the need for asking the data team.

 ### 50. Very flexible tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul F. | Client Operations Delivery, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?**

That is a very flexible tool to use, also provide excellent charts making easier to validat the information.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?**

Some times its not very clear from where the reports came

**What problems is ThoughtSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is reducing the use of excell, giving free time to use in other activities
