What is most helpful is being able to communicate with visitors, members, and volunteers with a frequency that is appropriate. What is vital is that it is how they are already communicating with others and they are able to respond to us not just hear from us. It sets the groundwork for the church to truly become like family in a way that I believe with all my heart God is proud of! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike I have would be the consistency of the integrations. Unfortunately too many times when pulling a list from planning center I run into issues that should not affect text in church. If there is a contact currently in text in church with a phone number that matches a contact you are trying to integrate but with a different name I can see why there would be an issue. But if a parent and a child both have the same number in planning center on their profile and neither one of them have been added to text in church, I should not have any issue adding that parent to a VBS parent contact list because it knows that another person in planning center has that number. If I'm not trying to import two people in text in church with the same information I should not be running into that issue. That causes a lot of time to try to sort out planning center in such a way that you can make sure 20 people on a list of 300 don't get left out. Overall text in church saves a lot of time. But this particular issue causes a lot of frustration. I hope they are able to find a much smoother way to conduct integrations from planning center that do not involve tweaking planning center or being tempted to just let a few people fall through the cracks with communication.
