"Plain-English test automation with excellent visual debugging"

5/5

What do you like best about testRigor?

What I like best about testRigor is how incredibly accessible it makes test automation. We can write our test cases using easy, free-speech command words in plain English, which means anyone on the team can understand exactly what the test is doing. I also love that it takes screen recordings and screenshots after every single step. If a test fails, I don't have to guess what went wrong—the visual evidence is right there. Combine that with the fact that it doesn't rely on fragile XPaths to find elements, and I expect our test maintenance time to drop significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about testRigor?

The error messages generated when a test fails can be difficult to interpret. Because they aren't always straightforward, I often have to rely on AI tools to translate the errors and figure out the root cause. This adds an extra step to the debugging process that feels unnecessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are still in the early stages of our testRigor adoption, but the primary problem we are aiming to solve is the steep learning curve and high maintenance typically associated with automated UI testing. Because the tool allows us to write tests using simple, plain-English commands, we are already seeing that anyone on our team can contribute to test creation without a heavy technical background.

As we scale our test suite, we expect to benefit heavily from the reduced maintenance overhead. Since testRigor doesn't rely on fragile XPaths to find elements, we anticipate that our tests will be much more stable as our application updates. Ultimately, we expect the combination of easy test creation and the excellent visual debugging tools (like the step-by-step screenshots) will save us countless hours in the future.
